Heatcraft - A heritage of quality and reliability

The industrial division of Heatcraft Europe is responsible for the design and manufacture of innovative liquid chillers for a wide range of applications. The partnerships we have created and consolidated with our customers over many years have always been based on our heritage of quality and reliability.

Whether for compact units or central cooling systems, our technical departments as well as our manufacturing plants provide our customers with solutions that meet their needs and expectations in terms of creativity and versatility.

Our R&D department and sales teams pay particular attention to working in close cooperation with all parties concerned. We have been sharing our experience and know-how in the industrial sector for more than 30 years.

Our recent product developments reflect this capacity. In our E Solutions program, we have combined energy saving with innovative solutions (micro-channel condensers). In this way we aim to contribute towards the protection of the ozone layer and reduce global warming.

A technology that makes the differenceIn machining centres, cooling of the part spray liquid has become a key aspect of operation. After passing through the filtration unit, the emulsions or oils must be kept at a stable temperature using drop-in or recirculating systems. Operational requirements (residual deposit after filtration) impose the use of specific heat-exchangers.

Immersion coolersThe stainless steel coil is immersed in the tank in the counter-flow direction to the part spray liquid.If deposit is noted or if the filter medium is damaged, the cooler is simply lifted out of the tank to allow cleaning of the tank and stainless steel heat-exchanger. This solution is also ideal for reducing floor space requirements.

Cooler with spiral heat-exchangerThis recirculation solution is ideal in the case of compact filtration units or during a retrofit. The oil or emulsion is pumped into the filtration tank and cooled via the patented spiral heat-exchanger. Connection and use are extremely simply and the heat-exchanger is equipped with a removable flange for maintenance purposes.

Scope of application• Cooling capacity from 4 to 80 kW• Application as required for oil or emulsions• Coolant temperature adjustable from 15 to 40°C

Stability of the part spray liquid temperature helps improve machining precision and guarantee an extended edge life for the cutting tools.
