Auch 2016 liegt der Schwerpunkt von Industrie-4.0-Maßnahmen in Produktion und Logistik. Für eine „Smart Factory“ müssen aber auch indirekte Bereiche ins Gesamtkonzept einbezogen werden.

Seit drei Jahren erhebt die Staufen AG den Deutschen Industrie 4.0 Index. Während der Index von 2014 auf 2015 einen großen Sprung machte, verlangsamte sich die Entwicklung im vergangenen Jahr.
