This information is for presentation only and is not part of a legally binding contract PROFILE The Heavygel industrial air-cooled chillers of the HGM series have been designed to cope with the most complex cooling requirements of medium outputs in various industrial processes. • Versions available: • with axial fans (A) for external installation • with centrifugal fans (C) for internal installation. • Available configurations: • with buffer tank and internal process pump (S) for closed circuit systems • with only the internal chiller pump (M) for systems with external tank and process pump(s).. • In the (S) configurations, two pumps are fitted for each machine: one dedicated to the process and the other (the chiller pump) to recirculation on the evaporator to guarantee constant flow and maximum performance and reliability. • Tropicalization fitted as standard for continuous operation in environments up to +45°C. Super-tropicalization available on request for environments up to +52°C (“T” version). • The Heavygel series uses ecological gas R407c, in respect of the European directives for environmental protection. • Electronic controller with microprocessor with easy-to-use immediate interface, fitted with self diagnosis for complete management of the cooling unit. • The particular design of the Heavygel chillers permits simplicity of use and easy maintenance of all the parts. • Possible combination with the air blast fluid coolers of the Ecodrygel series to create “free-cooling” systems. • The choice of components, the assembly procedures and the strict final testing of 100% of the production guarantee continuous operating cycles with excellent reliability even in the most difficult conditions. • The range includes 5 models with a cooling output ranging from 87 to 215 kW. mod. TECHNICAL FEATURES
• REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT
• scroll compressors • shell & tube evaporators • copper pipe condensers with aluminium fins, designed
to withstand extreme climatic conditions (maximum temperature +45°C)
• axial or centrifugal fans • ON-OFF electro-mechanical control of fans • operating temperature can be set from -5°C to +18°C.
• WATER DISTRIBUTION EQUIPMENT
• separate pumps, fitted with a high resistance mechanical seal and tropicalized motor
• evaporator/tank recirculation pump to guarantee maximum efficiency and reliability • completely insulated pipes, tank, connection parts and manifolds.
• ELECTRICAL AND CONTROL EQUIPMENT
• magneto-thermal protection on each compressor, pump and fan
