Mr. Balasubramanian K., Director, Q-Pro Consulting Engineers (P) Ltd., has more than 30 years of experience in the field of Industrial & Building Automation Projects, Fire Safety & Security Systems. Balasubramanian is a B.sc. graduate and an MBA. Also a visiting faculty for Anna (MADRAS) University teaching the

subject of Safety, Security & Integrated Building Management Systems.

Mr. S.M. Kulkarni, General Manager - R&D, Blue Star Ltd., has ME (Mechanical) heading R&D activities related to Chillers, Ducted & Packaged Air-Conditioners, VRF Systems and Refrigeration Products with 17 years experience. Worked on new design concepts in heat exchangers such as Flooded

design Coolers, Micro-channel condensers, introduction of new refrigerants and advanced electronic control systems. Actively particiapates in technical committee of ISHRAE-RAMA formed for review and finalization of new Indian Standard for Chillers.

Mr. Sharad Yadav, Director Sales – Notifier & Life Care Systems, South Asia for the Honeywell Life Safety Group and manages the complete range of Notifier, Ackermann & Variodynn Systems across the region. Sharad has an MBA in Marketing & Sales an Under Graduate Degree in Science from Delhi University, India.

Ms. Sheetal Rakheja, A graduate from Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Sheetal Rakheja is an accredited Green building professional, member of IGBC executive committee and President of International Fenestration Forum. A firm believer in Sustainable Architecture and with

a passion for seeing India’s development as sustainable, Sheetal has been conducting many workshop and has been a speaker and panellist at various large forums on sustainable architecture throughout India. She is presently part of the panel, writing the Sustainability clause for National Building Code. In the profession since 1998, she has today successfully designed and completed IT Parks, Corporate Offices, Hospitals, integrated mixed used developments , Hotels and Green Residential Estates.

Mr. Lalit Gabhane, a post graduate Fire & Life Safety engineer possesses a Master’s Degree in Fire Protection Engineering of University Maryland, USA. Over past 2 decades Mr. Gabhane has served reputed organisations like M/s. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, M/s. ITC Ltd., Kolkata and is currently associated

with M/s. United Spirits Limited, Bangalore as Vice President – EHS.

Mr. V. Srinivas, Director – Synergy Infra Consultants Pvt. Ltd., an MEP established by him in 1995 with a team of around 60 Engineers. A Post Graduate in Electrical Engineering. Worked for Dept. of Space, Govt. of India from 1985 to 1995 in planning of various services for space programs like PSLV,

GSLV etc. A Chartered Engineer; Certified Energy Auditor; Member in Institution of Fire Engineers (UK), Accredited Professional-IGBC. Worked on various Projects of National importance besides Defense projects during the last 19 years.

Mr. Ashish Rakheja, Regional Managing Director, AECOM Building Engineering completed his graduation from REC Allahabad in Mechanical Engineering followed by M.Tech in Thermal Engineering from IIT, New Delhi. He has work experience of over twenty years and expertise includes design & coordination

of multi-disciplinary engineering activities. He heads the large team of AECOM engineers and has hands-on work experience on number of projects all over India. He is involved in imparting training to budding Architects in the field of Building Services as a visiting faculty at School of Planning & Architecture (SPA), Guru Gobind Singh University and Vastu Kala Academy, New Delhi for last fifteen years.

Mr. Liaqut Ali Khan, Managing Director of Topaz Fire Systems Pvt. Ltd. Member of the Bureau of ISC CED 22, formulating the Indian Standards on Clean agents and Member of HAO Committee (HAOC) for selection of Halon Alternatives for India. He has set up the first UL listed Filling station In India. Has 20 years

of experience in Fire & Security industry and is a Graduate of Mechnical Engineering.

Mr. Deepak Kaul, Product Marketing Manager – CCTV, South Asia and IP Video Commercial Leader APAC, Honeywell Security.Has 10 Years of experience in this field. Previously he was with Siemens for 6 years and currently he is working for Honeywell for the last 4 years. Deepak holds BE Electronics & an MBA in Marketing.

Mr. Jitendra Bhambure, Executive Vice President R & D and Technology at Blue Star, graduated in Engineering in 1979 and a Diploma in Management Studies in 1983 from Mumbai University. Joined Rallis India Ltd., in 1979 as trainee engineer and worked for thirteen years. He was head of R & D before

he left Rallis India. Joined Blue Star in 1992 as Manger Vendor development and worked in various functions including setting up factory at Dadra in 1996 and Wada in 2007. He has been trained in US for three months, in London Business School, IIM A’bad and in Tel Aviv University. He is member of ISHRAE Technical committee and an active member of RAMA to represent Industry on Energy efficiency and new refrigerants with BEE, BIS and Ozone cell.

Mr. M. Sirish Patnaik, a Mechanical Engineer with 7+ years of experience in handling industrial engineering product services primarily into Fan Application Engineering catering to building, pharmaceutical and special industrial segment. A B.E. (MECH) from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology,

Bangalore and Sirish handles application engineering, sales and project operations as Head for Southern Region for Airovient Fans and Systems Pvt. Ltd., a Kolkatta based pioneering company in the field of Fan engineering solutions for green energy applications.
