PIVOTReport of 'Parenting Program' Organized by IAP, Kozhikode

The rst Parenting Program was orga-nized by IAP Kozhikode at Prestige Public School on 15-12-18. Dr. Beena Johnson, Senior Consultant in Child Guidance, Baby Memorial Hospital and the State Co-ordinator of Parenting Program, conducted seminar for the par-ents on the topic 'Role of parents in Child Development'. The parents were given awareness regarding the physical, so-cial, intellectual, emotional and aca-demic development of children. There was very good interaction with the par-ents after the seminar.

IAP KOZHIKODE FAMILY MEET AND NEW YEAR CELEBRATION ALONG WITH INSTALLA-TION OF NEW OFFICE BEARERSEvent was conducted at Aspin courtyards. IAP state President DrSanthosh M K inau-gurated the event and installed the new ofce bearers(PRESIDENT DrAshraf T P, Secre-tary – Dr Nihaz Naha K, Treasurer- Dr Vishnu Mohan P T). Around 40 families (140 peo-ple ) including many seniour pediatricians attended the event. Ofcial function was followed by cultural activities by the members which went on to 12.30 am.
