Preface Hello friends,

Greetings from Solar Mango.

It’s a pleasure for me and my team to be launching the inaugural edition of the India Solar EPC Directory.

Not surprisingly, the idea and inspiration for this directory came from the solar EPC industry itself.

While large developers of solar power plants have the resources to connect with prominent EPCs for implementing

their projects, those keen on having small and medium solar power plants – especially rooftop solar and small

captive solar power plant developers – find it challenging to identify the right EPCs.

Many developers of small and medium solar power plants have needs different from those of large developers,

and what they look for from an EPC are also quite different. In most cases, these small and medium developers

find it very challenging to identify the right solar EPC who fits their needs. They typically resort to a Google search,

or get referrals from their friends and contacts - neither of the avenues being effective enough.

On the other side, many high quality small and medium EPCs find it difficult to be seen above the crowd.

These realities provided us the motivation to bring out the inaugural edition of the India Solar EPC Directory. This

directory also happens to be the first such professional industry listing for the Indian Solar EPC sector!

This edition of the India Solar EPC Directory comprises a listing of almost 1,000 EPCs, from all regions of India. You

will find, along with the prominent EPCs, small and little known EPCs in all regions. I’m confident that such a

comprehensive list will assist solar power plant investors of all sizes in identifying EPCs most suited for their needs

and aspirations.

As this is the first directory of its kind for India, I will be delighted to get your feedback. Tell me what you found

useful, and also how you feel the directory can be improved.
