, The India Korea Technology Exchange Centre was inaugurated at National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) on 10th July 2018 by Shri Giriraj Singh, Honʼble Minister of State (independent Charge), Ministry of MSME and Mr. Hong Jong Haak, the Honʼble Minister of SMEs and Start-ups of Republic of Korea, creating a new era of association with India and Korea in the field of growth of MSMEs both the countries. Inaugurating the India-Korea Technology Exchange Centre Shri Giriraj Singh, Honʼble Minister of State (independent Charge), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises stated that the purpose of the India-Korea Technology Exchange Centre is to create a platform for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of India and Korea where they can be assisted to identify and exchange latest technologies, share management expertise, product development, technology applications for productive development. Also present on this occasion were Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC ,Dr. A.K.Panda, Secretary MSME, Shri P. Udayakumar, Director(P&M) ,Shri A.K. Mittal, Director (Fin), Ms. Alka Nangia Arora, Joint Secretary ,MSME and senior officers of Ministry of MSME and NSIC.     MoS (IC) for Ministry of MSME in the presence of Shri Ravindra

    Nath, CMD, NSIC and Dr.A.K.Panda, Secretary, MSME inaugurate

    NSIC Dharampada Bhawan – a one stop shop for MSMEs. The

    Dharm prada is the National Small Industries Corporation's (NSIC)

    largest office building in eastern India, Dharampada Bhawan,

    which is an Integrated Marketing Development Centre (IMDC). It

    is a 3-star GRIHA rated green building, having a built-up area of

    approx. 1,10,000 sq. ft. and is located in Mancheswar Industrial

    Area, Bhubaneswar. The new building will be having offices of

    various agencies like National Skill Development Corporation

    (NSDC), National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), etc. which will be

    working with NSIC for providing integrated support to various

    MSMEs including SC/ST MSMEs. It will also have NSIC's National

    SC-ST Hub Office (NSSHO) which will provide handholding to SC-

    ST enterprises through assistance in participation in CPSE tenders

    and subsequent empanelment, support in availing government

    schemes, finance facilitation, etc.

    N a t i o n a l S C S T h u b S t a t e C o n c l a v e

    (Bhubaneshwar) an initiative by ministry of

    MSME was organized on 30th August 2018,

    witnessed participation from CPSEs, Banks,

    Industry Associations and various central & state

    govt. agencies. The purpose of the conclave was

    to create awareness of schemes under NSSH like

    Special Marketing Assistance Scheme, Single

    Point Registrations Scheme in addition to

    disseminate information of central schemes like

    MUDRA, Stand-up India, CGTMSE, etc. It also

    aimed to share information on products/services

    that could be procured from SC/ST MSEs

    informed Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC while

    delivering the welcome address.

    Shri Giriraj Singh,Honble Minister of MSME (I/C)

    while addressed the National Scheduled Caste

    Scheduled Tribe(SC- ST) Hub Regional Conclave

    in Bhubaneswar higlighted the importance of

    MSMEs in the economy and spelled out various

    efforts taken by this Government to ensure

    growth of MSMEs in the country. He also said that

    the Government is committed to the welfare of

    the disadvantaged.

    The event was attended by a host of dignitaries which included Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon'ble Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri. Jual Oram, Hon'ble Minister of Tribal Affairs, Shri. Giriraj Singh, Hon'ble MoS (IC) for Ministry of MSME, Shri Ravindra Nath,CMD,NSIC ,Dr.A.K.Panda,Secretary, MSME along with other senior officials from the M/o MSME and State Government of Odisha were also present. The occasion provided an ideal platform for SC/ST owned MSEs to interact with CPSEs, State PSEs and Banks in addition to apprising them of the new IMDC facility which can assist in building their capacities and help in availing various types of services that can contribute to their growth and prosperity.

    In addition, there were 60 stalls setup by PSEs, Banks and SC ST entrepreneurs. The participating PSEs included NALCO, GAIL, IOCL, MCL, SAIL, NTPC, ONGC, etc. Banks that were present include SBI, SIDBI, Canara Bank, Allahabad Bank, UCO Bank, etc. Representatives from Government e Marketplace, KVIC, MSME DI, and Tool Rooms also attended the event. The conclave also saw participation from industry associations such as DICCI, TICCI, OASME, etc. Around 1,000 SC/ST entrepreneurs& youth including women participated in the Conclave. The event also saw several entrepreneurs showcasing their products. A participants Directory was also released on this occasion.

    NSIC Jaipur organised Marketing workshop in a Aspirational District Dholpur on 21.06.2018 in association with Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DICCI) The Programme was inaugurated by Mr. Naumal Pahadiya District magistrate of Dholpur. He appreciated the initiative of National Small Industries Corporation Ltd, for organising the marketing workshop at Dholpur. Mr. Y. K. Sharma Sr. Branch Manager NSIC Jaipur gave the brief presentation about NSIC Scheme. And asked the participant to avail the benefit about scheme. The programme was attended by more than 30 number of budding as well as existing entrepreneur of dholpur district and other government official were present at programme such as MSME-DI, RIICO, KVIC, DIC, CEO Nagar Parishad Dholpur.

    An Awareness Campaign on Public Procurement Policy for

    SC/ST Entrepreneurs was organized at Udyog Bhawan, Kokar

    Industrial Area, Ranchi on 9th May'2018 by NSSHO-Ranchi in

    association with Tribal Indian Chamber of Commerce &

    Industries (TICCI). Total 25 SC-ST entrepreneurs/aspiring

    entrepreneurs participated in the event. Information on

    was organized by NSIC and DICCI was inaugurated

    An Awareness Campaign on National SC-ST HUb for SC/ST

    Entrepreneurs was organized at Nongpoh, Ribhoi district,

    Meghalaya (Aspirational District) on 21 June 2018 by NSSHO-

    NSIC organised a Seminar on INNOVATIVE AND TECHNOLOGIES

    ON CLEANLINESS during the Swatchhta Pakhwada (15-30th June

    2018) in association with National Research Development

    Corporation (NRDC) and DLF Industries Association on 26th June

    2018 at New Delhi.The Seminar was inaugurated by Shri Navin

    Technology is about offering people the opprtunity to do what's

    right for themselves and the society. It's also about reducing the

    pollution and making the country better place to live for future

    highlighted numerous opportunities for the growth of the youth in

    the setting up enterprises in the area of Clean technologies. 55

    aspiring entrepreneurs participated. The National Research

    technologies (environment friendly and innovative options)

    Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC was the

    Chief Guest at the program organized by

    Bihar Entrepreneurs Association - BEA

    May, 2018. During deliberations, the

    various initiatives of NSIC related to the

    jointly with District Administration for NSIC’s activities in

    Nawada for promoting MSMEs with special focus on SC / ST

    entrepreneurs, as it is one of the aspirational districts

    declared by Government of India.

    NSIC (Chandigarh) participated in Vendor Development Programme

    NSIC and KASSIA facilitate the “Fifth India-China Trade &

    Business (Bengaluru) Forum” at KASSIA, on 26thJune 2018.

    summit. Sri P Ravikumar, Zonal General Manager, NSIC,

    spoke about various schemes and services of NSIC and also

    about the new initiatives of Ministry of MSME.The summit

    was addressed by Sri Zheng Jie, a long-time resident of

    China, from India on current economic situation at China

    and India.The program was attended by large number of

    MSMEs including delegates from China who evinced keen

    interest in setting up their units in Karnataka. Chinese

    delegates had one to one business meeting with Indian

    MSMEs.

    NSIC Technical Services Centre, New Delhi & Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab signed an MoU to synergize the resources by imparting training during internship to the students of Thapar Institute on the technologies placed in Advance Training Centre in NSIC Technical Services Centre, Okhla.
