Royal Rajasthan on Wheels is designed and embroidered in a contemporary royal style to experience the existing regal luxury, taste a slice of royalty and enjoy a royal feast onboard, where every moment is woven together into an everlasting and immemorial experience to be lived and cherished forever. Discover the adventurous escapades to the wilds of Ranthambore, visit to the magical destination of Udaipur, perceive the intriguing sagas of forts and palaces of Jaipur, glimpse the art and sculpture of the temple of Khajuraho, on to the spiritual experiences at Varanasi and see the wonder of the world at Agra.

DAY 01 (SUN): DELHI – JODHPUR (ROYAL RAJASTHAN ON WHEELS) 1630 hrs You have to report at Royal Rajasthan on Wheels station to complete the

check-in formalities. Boarding formalities are undertaken by our representative at the station, we are afforded a warm and traditional welcome before boarding the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels. You will be escorted to your cabin and given a brief familiarization tour by the Khidmatgars with a welcome drink, as we start our week-long journey through various erstwhile princely states of Rajasthan. After experiencing the multi-faceted Rajasthan, your exploration will continue with Khajuraho, Varanasi and Agra.

DAY 02 (MON): JODHPUR (ROYAL RAJASTHAN ON WHEELS) 0730 hrs Breakfast is served in the restaurant car. 0900 hrs You will visit the charisma of the regal legacy at Jodhpur, especially the

Mehrangarh Fort. This impressive fort has an excellent museum and still preserves a vast array of artefacts. See the country’s only palace built in the 20th century – a fine specimen of Rajput architecture. The lavish Umaid Bhawan Palace The mesmerizing royal charm will linger on as you leave Jodhpur.

DAY 03 (TUE): UDAIPUR & CHITTORGARH (ROYAL RAJASTHAN ON WHEELS) 0730 hrs Breakfast is served in the restaurant car. 0830 hrs Visit the beautiful princely City Palace, lunch at palace hotel followed by a

trip to the Crystal Gallery in the afternoon. 1415 hrs The luxury coach will take you back to Royal Rajasthan on Wheels 1645 hrs Arrive Chittorgarh where we view the Images of love and valour; scars

the Victory Tower and the Tower of Fame. You will also have an opportunity to witness the sound and light show at the majestic Chittorgarh Fort.

DAY 04 (WED): SAWAI MADHOPUR & JAIPUR (ROYAL RAJASTHAN ON WHEELS)

0530 hrs One can almost sense a life of the wilderness, as the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels arrives in Sawai Madhopur, a city named after its founder Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I. A visit is arranged to the Ranthambore National Park, wherein are located the ruins of a 10th century fort. This wildlife sanctuary is considered to be the country’s best for observing and photographing the activities of the tiger. The park, covering an area of 392sq kms is home to more than 300 species of birds. The tiger, hyena, ratel, jackal and fox are among those constituting the carnivorous population here. Sawai Madhopur is known for its exclusive toys, ethnic ornaments and costumes.

0915 hrs After the game drive, a safari canter will take you back to Royal Rajasthan on Wheels for breakfast on board

0930 hrs Train departs for Jaipur 1111

1130 hrs Royal Rajasthan on Wheels arrives in Jaipur, one of the well planned

cities of the world of its time. This capital city of Rajasthan, popularly known as the Pink City, was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, in 1727 A.D. To explore the city, an air-conditioned coach takes you to your first stop Amber Fort. Ride on caparisoned elephants adds to the ambiance at the Amber fort followed by the lunch.

1545 hrs Visit Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, which is a remarkable five storied building along the main street of the old city in pink splendor with semi-octagonal and delicate honey-combed sandstone windows. This is followed by a visit to Albert Hall and the City Palace, home of the erstwhile royal family. Right across the road from the City Palace is the Jantar Mantar, the largest observatory built by the Sawai Jai Singh II.

DAY 07 (SAT): AGRA (ROYAL RAJASTHAN ON WHEELS) 0730 hrs Royal Rajasthan on Wheels arrive Agra; breakfast will be served in the restaurant car 1015 hrs Visit Red Fort followed by lunch at the palace hotel 1415 hrs Move on to pay a visit to Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the

World. A pristine monument of undying love; It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Agra is also known for its splendid marble inlay work like the Pietra Dura work on the Taj, leather goods and jewellery.

1830 hrs The luxury coach will take you back to train 2030 hrs Dinner will be served in the restaurant car. Bid farewell to the train &

perhaps a final drink in the lounge bar.

DAY 07 (SUN): DELHI (ROYAL RAJASTHAN ON WHEELS) From 0700 hrs Breakfast is served in restaurant cabin From 0730 hrs De-board the train at the Safdarjung Railway station.
