India has a variety of mouth watering cuisine. A few examples are:

Bengali cuisine is appreciated for its

fabulous use of panchphoron, a term used to refer to the five essential spices,

namely mustard, fenugreek seed, cumin

seed, aniseed, and black cumin seed. The

specialty of Bengali food lies in the perfect

blend of sweet and spicy flavors.

The cuisine of Punjab has an enormous variety of

mouth-watering vegetarian as well as non

vegetarian dishes. The spice content ranges from

minimal to pleasant to high. Punjabi food is

usually relished by people of all communities. In Punjab, home cooking

differs from the restaurant cooking style.

Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal  from Persian and Arabic, "crown of palaces", is a white marble

mausoleum located on the southern bank of Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan (reigned 1628–1658) to house the tomb of his favourite wife of

three, Mumtaz Mahal.

QUTUB MINAR

Qutub Minar, also often written as Qutub Minar, at 73 meters, is the second tallest minar in India after Fateh Burj in Chappar

Chiri at Mohali, which measures 100 meters in height. Qutb Minar along with the ancient and medieval monuments surrounding it form

the Qutub Complex, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tower is located in the Mehrauli area of Delhi, India. Made of red sandstone and marble, Qutub Minar is a 73 meters (240 feet) tall

tapering tower with a diameter measuring 14.32 meters (47 feet) at the base and 2.75 meters (9 feet) at the peak.

Jama Masjid

It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656 at a cost of 1 million rupees, and was inaugurated by an imam from Bukhara, present-

day Uzbekistan. The mosque was completed in 1656 AD with three great gates, four towers and two 40 m

high minarets constructed of strips of red sandstone and white marble. The courtyard can accommodate more than

25,000 persons. There are three domes on the terrace which are surrounded by the two minarets. On the floor, a

total of 899 black borders are marked for worshippers.
