• Findings from more than 100 asset registers
• Only 50% of maintainable tags without part
numbers
• Between 15% and 50% of all maintainable tags
with part numbers
• Findings from more than 15 material masters
• Only 40% of materials established in a structure with correct information and not duplicated
• Between 40% and 50% of all materials are
duplicated, missing information, unstructured, not linked to parent data etc.

• “Midas Sensor” is not a part number
• “Cooper” is not the correct manufacturer name
• GHG 418 817 is not a proper part number
• Tag no 21PI5123 is missing part number
• Ability to secure deliveries through the data delivery
processes in projects
• Unclear delivery requirements
• Wrong and lack of clear standards

Challenges with poor data quality
• Ordering of wrong parts• Time used to find correct information in the ERP solutions• Use of materials on stock• Cost of purchasing, frame agreements, buy the same part
over and over • Effective warehousing• Time spent on planning and maintenance • Reduced Asset Integrity• Reduced security issues
“My KPI is to reduce the volume in the
Warehouse with 10% without throwing
materials away” - Manager
Our solutions and the future
A technical information repository for operators, contractors and suppliers
EqHub gives access to pre-qualified, classified and quality assured information when needed.EqHub provides a technical information library for standard equipment according to ISO 15926. Information is entered by the supplier and through a verification process. The validity of the documentation is guaranteed through an annual process that imposes the suppliers to verify that their documentation is updated and according to ISO 15926. If so, an EqHub certification is given to the relevant supplier and in EqHub for relevant equipment documentation

Our solutions and the future
Standardization
• The equipment classification is based on
NORSOK standards
• Equipment classes and data properties is
mapped against the ISO 15926 standard for
data exchange
• Implementation of standards is a key for
security of quality data
Our solutions and the future
If you «Clean up» the material data
• The “O-ring” approach…
• The clean up gone mad… (20.000.000 project
on “make up”)
• Only focus on the Material Master, not the
connections or the use.
• Start with the asset, what is installed?
• What do you really need to operate your asset?
• Establish data delivery routines and reuse data
• Understand the operations, maintenance and
project phases
Material master data interaction:
The material master needs to be aligned
with the Warehouse, the Assets and work
processes!
