The purpose of this course is to discuss fantasy fiction by analyzing animated films, films, and comic books.

Class Policy

There will be a midterm and a final exam. The midterm (40%) and the final (60%) will make up the grade for

the course.

You are expected to take an active part in the class discussions. The lectures will relate to the films and

comic books assigned for each week; however, they will also cover outside sources. Students will be

responsible for the assigned films and comic books as well as the lectures.
