– Bharti Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Bharti Group Companies.

– The prime objective is to bridge the existing education divide and make quality education accessible to underprivileged children in rural India.

– The Foundation aims to help underprivileged children and young people of our country realize their potential.

• Satya Bharti School Program

– The Satya Bharti School Program is the flagship program of Bharti Foundation.

– It aims to deliver free quality education to underprivileged children, with special focus on the girl child across rural India.

– Present Operational Status:

• Number of Schools Operational: 254

• States of Operation: Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh & Tamil Nadu

• Number of Students Enrolled: Over 38,000

About the Community

• Geographical Location: Satya bharti school BODHANI is situated in Jaipur district`s north side at Achrol village. This

School completely belongs to Rural Area. Our Satya Bharti School Bodhani is 3 km Ahead North-East side.

Cultural Background:• Community of this village belongs to Rural Environment . The economic status of most

people is not very healthy. Villagers wear rural costumes Like MEN- Dhoti,Kurta & pagadi (turban) & WOMEN-Lehnga & Chunari.

• Role of Satya Bharti School in the Village: Satya bharti school’s main focus is to develop the education level of underprivileged children

and improve their behavior & communication skills. Satya bharti school provided villagers an opportunity to give good quality education to their children which otherwise was not possible for many of them. Earlier people are not happy with the local government school performance but with adoption of thses schools by satya bharti people are enthusiastically sending their children to our school.

• Participation in ‘Design for Giving’ School Contest: By this contest, the teachers wants to give the awareness of our community people to over the

social evils like female foeticide, adult education etc

We ‘Felt’:

• Our community is engulfed with many social evils. To bring change and eradicate such evils we need to create awareness in the community. We as a school felt the need to take the step against one such evil practice i.e. “female foeticide”.

“A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step..”

and this is our first step against female foeticide

These are the most beautiful words in one’s lifeBut

also the most deadliest in our country
