kuOktoba 2012 ngamhla sigubha iminyaka eyi-50 yeNhlangano enkulu

yababhishobhi bomhlaba wonke, i-Vatican II, kuze kube ngomhlaka 24 ku

Novemba 2013 obekungumkhosi omkhulu ka-Jesu Khristo iNkosi yakho konke

okudaliweyo. Lemigubho ebesiyenza ngezindlela eziningi: ngemibuthano,

izimvuselelo, uhambo oluyingcwele njl.njl., kusifundise ukuthi UKHOLO yisipho

esibaluleke kakhulu esisiphiwa nguMvelingqangi. Kufanele sisiphathe kahle

lesisipho. Injongo yaleNcwadi yoKwalusa wukubeka kafuphi umsoco nengcebo

yokomoya esiyizuzile, kanye nokwabelana nani bazalwane imizindlo emihle

ngakho.

Zonke izindaba ezixoxwayo ezilimini nasemasikweni amazwe nezinhlanga

zomhlaba wonke jikelele, zisilandisa ngokudalwa kwezulu nomhlaba nokudalwa

komuntu, nokuthi impilo yomuntu yaqalwa kanjani futhi iyophethwa kanjani.

Empeleni, lemilando imayelana nemizwa yothando olujulile phakathi

kukaNkulunkulu nesidalwa sakhe esingumuntu. Kuyiqiniso ukuthi uNkulunkulu

ulokhu eziveza nje uqobo lwakhe kithina, nokuthi uyasimema ukuba simfune size

simthole. Uma sicaphuna ezindabeni zamasiko mayelana nempilo yomuntu,

iKhathekisima leBandla lamaKhatholika liyakubeka ukuthi isidalwa esingumuntu

sinenjongo ejulile kakhulu yokusondelana noNkulunkulu. Phela sadalwa nguye

uNkulunkulu ngenjongo yokuba seduzane kwakhe (Gen.1:26-27). Lendaba

enesasasa yokudalwa komuntu encwadini ka-Genesisi ivela kubalobi bomlando

kwa-Izrayeli okuthiwa: yiSiko laBaphriste. Bona bayibiza lendaba yokudalwa

komuntu bathi: “yingoma yendumiso neyokuvuma ukholo”1 lwethu

kuNkulunkulu onamandla okudala izinto zonke ngeZwi lakhe.

Abantu abadalwanga njengezinhlwa bebondwana, kodwa khona emandulo

babizelwa ukuhlala emphakathini wabany’abantu: “Akukuhle ukuba umuntu abe

yedwa, ngizomenzela umsizi onjengaye” (Gen.2:18). Isibonakaliso sokuthi

sadalwa sahlaliswa emphakathini kuyavela ngegama lesiHebheru elanikwa

uNkulunkulu elithi: “Elohim.” Leligama likhombisa ubuningi bukaNkulunkulu,

njengoba engabaZimeli abathathu: “Masidale umuntu abe nenswebu yethu,

afane nathi” (Gen.1:26). Kanti futhi nasemthandazweni wokuvalelisa ka Jesu,

kuyavela ukuthi uNkulunkulu ungabazimeli abathathu, ebe emunye nokho;

nokuthi sengathi abafundi bakhe bangalandela lesosilungo sobunye: “Baba

Ocwebileyo, bagcine egameni lakho laba onginike bona, ukuze babemunye

njengathi” (Jn.17:11c). Khona lapho futhi, uNkulunkulu akadalanga owesilisa

kuphela, kodwa “… wabadala owesilisa nowesifazane” (v.27); wabesebanika

amandla phezu kwendalo yonke abeseyenzile. Wona lomsebenzi wokudala, wathi

ungaphela uNkulunkulu wawutusa kakhulu: “Kwaba kanjalo-ke. UNkulunkulu

wawubona wonke umsebenzi abesewenzile, bheka wawuhle kakhulu” (v.31).

Ukuze kufezeke injongo yokuchaza kwenatshwe ngemfundiso mgomo yokholo, i-

Khathekisima leBandla eliKhatholika liyacaphuna kaningi kosomqulu beNhlangano

yeVathikani II: labosomqulu, “IsaKhiwo soKwalusa mayelana neBandla

ngeZikhathi zanaMuhla” (Gaudium et Spes), kanye ne “saKhiwo seMfundiso

yeBandla” (Dei Verbum). Kulemfundiso okudlula konke yimfihlakalo

yokuzithabathela ubuntu kweZwi, l.k. uJesu Khristo uqobo lwakhe, okwenza

ukuba umuntu abuyiselwe esimweni sakhe sakuqala sobungcwele, ayelahlekelwe

yiso ngenxa yesono sokuqala.

“Ayike kwathi ngokuzithabathela kwayo ubuntu, iNdodana kaNkulunkulu

yazihlanganisa ngandlela thile nawowonke umuntu. Phela yayisebenza

ngezandla zomuntu, icabanga ngengqondo yobuntu, yenza izinto

ngentando yomuntu, ngisho nokuthanda ngenhliziyo yomuntu. Yathi ukuba

izalwe nguMaria iNtombi engenasici, ngaleyondlela yenziwa

yabanjengomunye wethu, yebo phela injengathi kukho konke ngaphandle

kwesonto”2 (Hebr.4:15).

UJesu Khristo iNdodana kaNkulunkulu eyazithabathela ubuntu, ungumxhumanisi

futhi ungubuphelele bokwambulwa kukaNkulunkulu ebantwini bonke.

Lemfundiso itholakala kuma-Hebheru 1:1-4, yikhona kulombhalo lapho sithola

isenanelo sika Johannes ocwebileyo wesiPhambano, njengoba ecashunwe

eKhathekisimeni lamaKhatholika:

“Ekusipheni kwakhe iNdodana yakhe eyiliZwi lakhe, uNkulunkulu

wakhuluma konke kithina ngalo iZwi lakhe – futhi-ke akukho lutho olunye

asazolusho – ngoba phela lokho ayekusho izikhawu kubaprofethe, manje

usebuye wakusho konke kanye kanye ngokuba asiphe UBUPHELELE,

oyiNdodana yakhe. Noma ngubani obuza uNkulunkulu noma enesifiso

sokuba nombono kumbe ukwambulelwa, uyoba necala, hayi lokuziphatha

ngobulima nje, kodwa futhi ngokumcasula uNkulunkulu, ngokungabeki

amehlo akhe athi njo ku-Khristo, nokuba aphile impilo ngokulangazela

ukuba athole okunye futhi okusha.”3

Thina sonke makholwa sibonga uPhapha osethathe umhlalaphansi, uBenedict XVI,

ngoba nguye owasipha loNyaka woKholo. Siyathola encwadini yobuphostole

ayibhala, ebizwa kuthiwe, “Yisango loKholo”, Porta Fidei, ukuthi waveza umbono

wakhe mayelana nomsebenzi weBandla ukukhulisa ukholo ngalezikhathi zethu.

Siyaphawula lapha ukuthi yena loPhapha wahlaziya imibhalo yeVangeli lika-

Johannes ngokusebenzisa amasu okufundisa ka-Johannes, ngenjongo yokuveza

obala imfundiso yokholo.

UPhapha Benedict XVI uqala ngokuhlaziya imiBhalo esebenzisa izifanekiso

zobumnandi kanye nokukhanya. Ubeka kanje: “Ngeke sivume ukuba usawoti

uphelelwe wubumnandi bawo, nokuthi ukukhanya kufihleke (Math.5:13-16).

Impela, abantu banamuhla nabo bangasibona isidingo sokuya esiphethwini,

njengowesifazane waseSamariya … ukuzwa izwi likaJesu, osimema ukuba

sikholwe kuye size sikhe esiphethwini samanzi aphilayo …”4 (Jn.4:14). Emva

kwalokho uPhapha Benedict XVI, usebenzisa nezinye izibonelo ezitholakala

eVangelini lika-Johanisi ezimayelana nodaba lokholo. Kuyaphawuleka lapha

ukuthi u-Johanisi uvamisile ukusebenzisa indlela yokufundisa ngezingxoxo

phakathi kwabantu ababili abaphikisanayo. Ngakolunye icala ngu-Jesus, kanti

ngakolunye ngama-Juda angakholwayo. Kuzozonke lezizimfundiso, ingxoxo

kumbe impikiswano iya ngokuya ivuthwa ishuba, imfundiso ka-Jesus iyajula ize

icace ukuthi ithini, bese imbamba lona akhuluma naye, obese-ke ephenduka

noma adlubulundele alahleke unomphelo.

Ayike kuloludaba olwenzeka emthonjeni ka-Jakobe, sibona u-Jesu exoxisana

nowesifazane wase-Samariya. Sizosebenzisa isu lokuhumusha imibhalo

eyingcwele ngokulandela indlela umbhalo ohamba ngayo. Phela ngesikhathi laba

ababili bexoxisana, kukhona okwenzekayo kubona. Siyashintsha isimo sabo

kusukela ekuqaleni kuze kube sekugcineni. Makesibheke-ke ukuthi uvuthondaba

luzohamba lugcinephi. Ekuqaleni kwendaba kunesidingo esithile. Yebo kukhona

okungekho: uMsamarithani lo wesifazane akamthembi uJesu, futhi akayikholwa

nento ayishoyo.

NguJesu oqala loludaba ngokucela owesifazane ukuba amphuzise. Owesifazane

uphendula ngokuthi: “Hawu, wena uli-Juda ucela amanzi kimina ngingu

msamarithani na?”(Jn.4:9). Laphake umlandi (u-Johanisi) ubesechaza ukuthi

kwakungekho ukudlelana okuhle phakathi kwalezizizwe ezimbili. Uma

esephendula u-Jesu usebenzisa lelithuba ukufundisa lo wesifazane ngamanzi

amnandi adlula lawa akulesiphethu:

“Ukube bewukwazi lokho uNkulunkulu akunikayo

nokuthi ngubani lo othi kuwe, ‘Ngiphe amanzi,’

ngabe nguwena ocela amanzi,

yena-ke ubezokunika amanzi aphilayo” (Jn.4:10).

Indlela ayekhuluma ngayo uJesu, kwenza owesifazane azibuze eziphendula ukuthi

ungubani. Wamangala-nje ukuthi njengoba isiphethu sijule kangaka, futhi yena

engenaso isitsha uzowathathaphi lawomanzi aphilayo? Habe! Uzenzabani yena?

Mkhulu yini kunedlozi uJakobe owamba lesiphethu okwaphuza kuso umndeni

nezilwane zakhe? Kepha u-Jesu waqhubekela phambili ukumchazela

ngobumnandi balamanzi amasha uma eqhathaniswa nalawa ka-Jakobe:

“Bonke abaphuza lamanzi bayobuye benxanwe,

Kodwa akekho noyedwa ophuza lamanzi engiyakumnika wona oyoke

enxanwe futhi; amanzi engiyakumnika wona ayoba kuye yisiphethu

samanzi ayophophomela ingunaphakade” (vv.13-14).

Ngalesisikhathi owesifazane wayesezwa ngaphakathi kuye ukulangazela okukhulu

ukuba athole lamanzi uJesu ayekhuluma ngawo: “Ngiphe phela kulawomanzi,

ukuze ngingabuye ngiphinde ngenxanwe, futhi engingaseyekuba nasidingo

sokubuye ngize lapha ukuzokha amanzi” (v.15). Ayike uJesu wabona ukuthi lase

lifikile ithuba lokuba ayihlabe esikhonkosini. Wabeseyala owesifazane ukuba

ayobiza umyeni wakhe. Kodwa yena waphika ukuthi unomyeni. Yilapho-ke uJesu

wabeseveza obala izimfihlo: “Impela uqinisele uma uthi, ‘anginandoda,’ ngoba

nakuba sewaba namadoda amahlanu, lena onayo manje akusiyena umyeni

wakho” (vv.17-18). Manje lengxoxo yabisifike ezingeni lokomoya, sekugeqwa

amagula.

Njengoba babebobabili kuphela, owesifazane akaphathekanga kabi emoyeni

ngalombuzo. Wayesebona ukuthi lomuntu akafani nabanye. “Mnumzane,

ngiyabona ukuthi ungumprofethe” (Jn.4:19). Wazimisela ukuthi naye angene athi

shi kwezomoya: “Obaba babekhonza kulentaba, kodwa nina (maJuda) nithi

indawo okufanele kukhonzwe kuyo ise-Jerusalema” (vv.20-21). UJesu

wamthatha lapho-ke, waqala ukumfundisa ngendlela entsha yokukhonza:

“Ngikholwe wena wesifazane, uyeza umzuzu lapho niyodumisa uBaba, hayi

kulentaba futhi hayi e-Jerusalema. Nina phela nikhonza eningakwazi,

kodwa thina sikhonza esikwaziyo, ngoba phela usindiso luvela emaJudeni.

Nokho uyeza umzuzu – empeleni usufikile – lapho abakhonza ngeqiniso

beyokhonza uBaba ngomoya nangeqiniso; yiyona ndlela leyo yokukhonza

efunwa nguBaba. UNkulunkulu ungumoya, kanjalo nalabo abamkhonzayo

kufanele bamkhonze ngomoya nangeqiniso” (vv.21-24).

Kulapho-ke owesifazane wase-Samariya angena khona emnyango wokholo.

Waqala manje ukulumbanisa lemfundiso entsha kaJesu noMesiya. “Ngiyazi

ukuthi uMesiya – lokhu kuthi uKhristo – uyeza; nokuthi uma esefika uyosichazela

konke” (v.25). UJesu wabesemphendula wathi: “Nginguye, mina engikhuluma

nawe” (v.26). Lesisenzo sikaJesu sokuzidalula uqobo lwakhe, sisikhumbuza

uNkulunkulu embulela uMose igama lakhe ehlane, “NgiNguye oNguye …”

(Ekso.3:14). Ngalesosikhathi babuya abafundi ababeyothenga ukudla edolobheni.

Bamangala ukubona uJesu ekhuluma nowesifazane, nakuba-ke bengazange

bambuze ngalokho.

Njengoba ukuzidalula kukaNkulunkulu kuMose ehlane kwamkhuthaza ukuba

aqunge isibindi, abuyele eGibhithe ukotshela uFaro ukuba akhulule abantu

bakwa-Izrayeli, kwabanjalo mhla uJesu eziveza ukuthi unguMesiya

owayelindelwe; lokho kwafaka ukholo enhliziyweni yowesifazane wase-Samariya.

Washiya isitsha samanzi khona lapho ngasemthonjeni, wagijima wabuyela

edolobheni lakubo wamemezela kubantu bonke wathi: “Wozani nibone umuntu

ongitshele konke engakwenzayo; konje ngabe unguKhristo na?” (V.29). Lokhu

kwaba yisenzo esikhulu salomuntu wesifazane sokuvuma ukholo nokumethemba

kwakhe uJesu. Ngezwi lakhe kwasukumisa idolobha lonke, laphuma ukuyobona

uJesu. Lapha-ke sesifike esiphethweni sokuhlaziywa kwalombhalo ngendlela

yokulandela ukuhamba komlando wayo kusukela ekuqaleni kuze kube

sesiphethweni sendaba. Lendaba yengxoxo emthonjeni kaJakobe phakathi

kukaJesu nowesifazane waseSamariya, ebeyiqale ngokuthi owesifazane

angamethembi futhi angakmkholwa uJesu, ihambe yahamba ingxoxo yaze

yaphetha ngokuba owesifazane amethembe futhi amkholwe uJesu ukuthi

unguMesiya.

UPhapha uBenedict XVI uyasimema sonke ukuthi, ngamunye ngamunye siye

emthonjeni ukuyobonana noJesu. Kuleyo naleyompilo yokholo nezinselelo

esinazo, masimnike uJesu isikhathi esaneleyo ukuba simlalele lapho esitshela

amaqiniso ngokholo lwethu. Masikhule emoyeni, sizindle sijule lapho uJesu

ekhuluma nathi. Masiyifumane siyiqonde lendlela asifundisa ngayo ukuba sizazi

ukuthi singobani. Kulungile ukuba asembule ubuze bethu, ukuze kuvele obala

nalezozindawo esithanda ukuzifihla, nalezo ezisizwisa ubuhlungu esingafuni

nakuzwa ngazo, ukuze selapheke. Kuyiqiniso ukuthi impilo yethu iwuhambo

lokholo. Masihambisane noJesu, njengabafundi baseMawusi, ukuze asifundise

imiBhalo asiphe nokudla kokomoya.

Encwadini yakhe yokuqala yobuPhostole enguZungeleza, ebizwa kuthiwe

“Ukukhanya koKholo” Lumen Fidei, uPhapha Francis uthathe isihlonti kumnewabo

uPhapha Benedict XVI, yena osehlezi phansi, waqhubezela phambili imfundiso

mayelana nokholo. Uyayitusa imisebenzi encomekayo kamanduleli wakhe:

“UThando neThemba”, enye, “UMnyango Wokholo” Porta Fidei , lena yesibili

yathi seyiya emaphethelweni wabe eseshiya esikhundleni. UPhapha Francis

ukhuluma ngokuzithoba, lapho echaza ngelakhe igalelo kulomsebenzi

wokufundisa ngokholo. Yena uzifanisa-nje nabalandeli baPetrusi, owathunywa

yiNkosi, “ukuqinisa abafowabo nodadewabo ukufumana ingcebo engayiwayo

yokholo, uNkulunkulu ayinikeza yaba wukukhanya okukhanyisela indlela

yesintu.”5

U-Abrahamu uBaba ngoKholo

UPhapha Francis uyagcizelela ukuthi ngeke sibe nalo ulwazi ngokholo uma

singalandeli umgudu walo emlandweni wosindiso. EThestamenteni eliDala, u-

Abrahamu unesabelo esibalulekile ngoba nguye owokuqala owakholwa

kuNkulunkulu munye. Waziswa kakhulu ngokuthi ungubaba ngokholo.

Okubalulekile ngo-Abrahamu wukuthi yena wanethamsanqa lokukhuluma

umlomo nomlomo noNkulunkulu. Naye uNkulunkulu (u-Jahweh) akafani

nezithixo zabezizwe. Kodwa ubizwa aqondaniswe nomuntu othile, njengokuthi:

“wuNkulunkulu ka-Abrahamu.” Ngezwi lakhe uNkulunkulu wambiza u-Abrahamu

ukuba ashiye izwe lakubo aye kwelinye izwe yena ayezamkhombisa lona. Lolubizo

lwaluhambisana nesethembiso: “Ngizakwenza ube yisizwe esikhulu,

ngizokubusisa, ngikwenze ube nodumo; wena uqobo uyakuba yisibusiso!

“Ngiyakubabusisa labo abakubusisayo

Ngibaqalekise labo abakuqalekisayo

Izinhlanga zomhlaba wonke ziyakuzibusisa ngawe” (Gen.12:2-3).

Ngalesisikhathi u-Abrahamu wayesemdala impela, nonkosikazi wakhe uSara

wayengamtholi umntwana eminyaka eminingi. Nokho okwamhlaba umxhwele u-

Abrahamu yisithembiso sikaNkulunkulu esamnikeza ithemba lokuthi mahlayeni

langalimbe uyoba nesabelo naye ebuzalini, l.k. ubuyise bukaNkulunkulu: “uSara

umkakho uzakuzalela indodana, wena uyomqamba igama elithi, u-Isaka”

(Gen.17:19). U-Abrahamu wakholwa yilizwi likaNkulunkulu, wabeseluthatha

loluhambo olwalumyisa lapho ayengazi khona. UPhapha Francis ubiza loluhlobo

lokholo ngokuthi, memoria future, inkumbulo, hayi yezehlo esezadlula kodwa

yezinto ezisazokwenzeka, okuhambisana nethemba. Ukholo luka-Abrahamu

lwaluqinile ngqi, ngoba lelozwi ayelizwile laliyingqayizivele. KwakuyiZwi

likaNkulunkulu elingangatshazwa. Amagama asetshenzisiwe yilawa: elesi-

Hebheru “emunah”=ukubambelela, isiGriki “pistos”=thembekile, kholekile; kanye

nesiLathini “fidelis”=kholekile, mnene, thembekile, qinisekile, vikelekile, ukuba

nomfutho, namandla. Lamagama anikeza umqondo wokwethembeka,

nokuqiniseka ngasohlangothini lukaNkulunkulu, ukholo nokwethemba

ngasohlangothini lomuntu.

UKholo luka-Izrayeli

Enye ingxenye yomlando kwaba wukholo lwabantu bakwa-Izrayeli kuNkulunkuklu

munye, ngalokho uNkulunkulu wazithabathela lesisizwe esincane saba ngesakhe.

Ebudlelwaneni bakhe no-Izrayeli wabakhombisa uthando lwakhe lobuyise, ukuze

likaNkulunkulu liyezwakala kuMose liphuma esihlahleni esivuth’umlilo. Wayibuka

lento ngokumangala okukhulu, isihlahla sivutha amalangabi kodwa singashi.

Nango-ke uNkulunkulu esememeza uMose ukuba ayoba yisithunywa sakhe

ukuhola abantu bakwa-Izrayeli ohambweni olude lwenkululeko. Nalapha futhi

uNkulunkulu ukhuluma noMose umlomo nomlomo, njengoba enza kanjalo ku-

Abrahamu:

“Mose, Mose! …. Ungasondeli. Khumula izimbadada zakho, ngokuba

lendawo omi kuyo iyingcwele. Mina nginguNkulunkulu wawokhokho

bakho, uNkulunkulu ka-Abrahamu, uNkulunkulu ka-Isaka, noNkulunkulu

kaJakobe … Sengilubonile impela usizi lwabantu bami eGibhithe, ngikuzwile

nokukhala kwabo. Manje sengehlile ukubakhulula emaketangeni

amaGibhithe, nokubakhipha kulelazwe ngibayise ezweni elinothile futhi

elibanzi … eligeleza ubisi noju … Ngakhoke manje sengiyakuthuma kuFaro,

ukuba ukhiphe abantu bami bakwa Izrayeli eGibhithe” (Ekso.3:7-10).

Indlela uNkulunkulu abizela ngayo umuntu ebuholini inomahluko wokuthi, naye

uqobo uhambisana naye asebenze naye ukulethela abantu bakhe inkululeko.

Uyabathanda kakhulu abantu bakwa-Izrayeli kangangokuba babizwa kuthiwe:

“bayindodana yakhe yamazibulo” (Ekso.4:22), nokuthi yena unguYise othwala

indodana yakhe endleleni ize ifike lapho iya khona (Deut.1:31). Kanti futhi

ungumholi ohamba ngaphambili ukukhombisa abantu bakhe indlela edabula

ogwadule (Deut.26:5-11).

Besadwanguza ehlane kwakubakhona imizuzu lapho kwakuphela ukholo khona,

ngisho izimo zokulingwa, nangesikhathi u-Izrayeli ehlubuka kuNkulunkulu.

Kaningi u-Izrayeli wawela esonweni sokukhonza onkulunkulu abangeyibo. Kwathi

mhla u Jahweh noMose besentabeni iSinayi, kuqoshwa imiThetho eliShumi

ematsheni, abakwaIzrayeli basala bezakhela ithole legolide balikhonza. Kepha

yayingekho impilo kulabonkulunkulu mbumbulu, njengoba nomlobi wezinkondlo

efakaza:

“Banemilomo kodwa abakhulumi

banamehlo kodwa ababoni

banamadlebe kodwa abezwa,

banamakhala kodwa abanuki,

nabakhi babo bazokuba njengabo

nabobonke labo abathembele kubo …..” (Ishl.115:5-6).

uPhapha Francis unencoko elihle kabi lokubhuqa lemikhuba yokukhonza izithixo

namuhla:

“Lapho umuntu eselahlekelwe ngumqondo ophusile (wokholo) okuyiwona

omisa ubuntu bakhe, ubesefikelwa yizifizo eziningi ezidida umcabango

wakhe; abesehluleka ukuzibamba nokulinda isikhathi sokufezeka kwezifiso

lezo, bese elimala emoyeni avuthuzeke imvuthu eziningi ningi. Lapho-ke

ukukhonza izithixo eziningi lokhu kumshiya elenga-nje emoyeni; ukhonza

lesisithixo manje, abuye ashiye lapho aye kwesinye, aze abe nomsangano-

nje … eselokhu engumhambuma; kuze kudume nezindlebe izithixo zimbiza

ngapha nangapha: ‘Thembela kimi wena!’”6

Kodwa ukholo oluyilo kuNkulunkulu luyisipho kithina. Lusifundisa ukuzithoba

ukuba sethembe, nokuba sizinikele kulowo okunguyena yedwa othembekile,

kubesekusinika ukukhanya ukuba sibone indlela esiholela ekubeni simbone

uNkulunkulu.

Ukugcwaliseka koKholo lobuKhristo

UPhapha ubesecaphuna ku Jn.8:56 ukukhombisa ukuthi ukholo luka-Abrahamu

luyisibonelo ngqala esandulela ukholo lukaJesu Khristo uqobo lwakhe, uMesiya.

Ukhokho wethu lona akabekanga umqondo wakhe esikhathini esesidlulile, kodwa

wayebhekise amabombo akhe esikhathini esizayo, lapho iNdodana kaNkulunkulu,

eyazithabathele ubuntu, yayizofika iphile phakathi kwethu. UJesu Khristo,

ngesikhathi semfundiso yakhe nesokuphila kwakhe, waba wukupheleliswa

kwokholo. Kwathi ngokuhlushwa, nokufa kanye nokuvuka kwakhe kwabafileyo,

waba yisiqiniseko sokugcwaliseka kwazozonke izithembiso zeThestamente eliDala

(Rom.10:9; 2Khor.1:20).

UJesu esahamba kulomhlaba wayevamisile ukukhumbuza abantu ukuthi, bona

banenhlanhla enkulu kangakanani ukumbona nokumuzwa. Ekhuluma kubafundi

bakhe uma sebebodwa isixuku sesihambile, uJesu wathi:

“Kodwa abusisiwe amehlo enu ngoba ayabona, namadlebe enu ngoba

ayezwa! Ngiqinisile ngithi kini, baningi abaprofethe nabantu abalungileyo

ababelangezela ukubona enikubonayo, kodwa abakubonanga; nokuzwa

enikuzwayo, kodwa abakuzwanga” (Math.13:16-17; bheka futhi ku

Lk.10:23-24).

Okunye okutholakala ku-Lukasi kuphela yinkulumo mayelana noSuku lweNdodana

yoMuntu, l.k. mhla uJesu efika ngobukhosi ngokwesibili, nokuthi abafundi ngeke

basibone lesosikhathi.

“Kuyofika isikhathi lapho niyolangazela ukubona olunye lwezinsuku

zeNdodana yomuntu kodwa ningaluboni” (Lk.17:22-23).

Kodwa okubuhlungu kakhulu koba wukuvela kwezimpawu zesikhathi, kodwa

ngezizathu ezithize abantu bangazinaki, futhi bangathathi zinyathelo:

“Njengoba kwakunjalo ngosuku lukaNowa, kuyakubanjalo nangosuku

lweNdodana yoMuntu. Abantu babedla bephuza, beshada omakhoti

nabayeni, kwaze kwaba wusuku uNowa angena ngalo emkhunjini, zafika

izikhukhula zababhubhisa bonke. Kuyofana futhi nosuku lukaLothe.

Abantu babedla bephuza, bethenga, bedayisa, betshala futhi bakha

(izindlu); kwaze kwaba wusuku uLothe aphuma ngalo eSodoma, lana umlilo

nesibabuli sehla ezulwini, babhujiswa bonke. Kuyoba yinto efanayo mhla

uSuku lufika lokwambulwa kweNdodana yoMuntu” (Lk.17:26-30; bheka

naku Gen.6-8; Math.24:37-39).

Phakathi enhliziyweni yokholo lobuKhristo, uPhapha uyagcizelela ukuthi

okubalulekile wukuvuma ukuthi uJesu Khristo yiNkosi, nokuthi uNkulunkulu

wamvusa kwabafileyo, (Rom.10:9).

UkuSindiswa ngoKholo

Okufika kuqala thina singakenzi lutho wuthando lukaNkulunkulu, olubizwa

kuthiwe wuthando lwasekuqaleni. USanti Paulusi ngesikhathi ephikisana naba

Farisi washo ephikelela ethi kubalulekile ukulubona loluthando lokuqala

ngamehlo okholo, ngoba yikhona okusindisa umuntu, hayi ukwenza imisebenzi

yomthetho.

Ukholo Olwakhelwe iBandleni

Ikholwa eliphila emphakathini weBandla namanye amakholwa, liyathuthuka

okholweni ngenxa yoxhaso eliluthola kwabanye. Uma amakholwa ehlezi

ndawonye akha umzimba kaKhristo oliBandla. Lobubunye benza ukuba ukuvuma

ukholo kwayilelo nalelo kholwa kuzwakale kahle uma liphakathi komzimba

kaKhristo. Ngalesosizathu ukholo ngokwemvelo yalo-nje luyinto yeBandla.

Ukumfuna uNkulunkulu ngoKholo

Ngasohlangothini lokubambisana kwamabandla, kuyatholakala ukuthi abaningi

abalungileyo besifazane nabesilisa babehamba yonke indawo bemfuna

uNkulunkulu ngaphambi kuka-Abrahamu. U-Enokhi ungomunye walabobantu

(Hebr.11:5-6; bheka ku Gen.5:22-24). Ngaphambi kwalokho, uAbeli waziswa

kakhulu ngokholo ayenalo kunomfowabo uKhayini, waze wanikela ngamazinyane

emfuyo yakhe (Hebr.11:4; bheka Gen.4:4). Umnikelo wakhe wamjabulisa

uNkulunkulu.

Ngesikhathi sokuzalwa kuka-Jesu, iZazi zaseMpumalanga zahamba indawo ende

ziya eBhethlehema zilandela inkanyezi, phela zazifuna umntwana ozelweyo

owayezokuba yinkosi.

IBandla linguNina woKholo

Ukholo lutholakala ngokuba umuntu ezwe izwi bese ebona nokukhanya. Uma-nje

sesilutholile ukholo asikwazi ukuthula, kodwa siyabelana ngalo ngokukhuluma

nabanye (2Khor.4:13). Uma izwi likaNkulunkulu selizwakele liba yimpendulo

noma wukuvuma kwethu ukholo. Ukukhanya lokhu yisihloko asithandayo

uPaulusi. Kuthi uma sesilutholile udumo lukaNkulunkulu siguqulwe sibe yilo thina

uqobo, bese siluvezela nabanye (2Khor.3:18). Kwabanjalo nakuMose ehlane,

waguquka wakhazimula ebusweni ngesikhathi ephethe amatshe emithetho

elishumi. Ebusweni bakhe wayekhanya inkazimulo kaNkulunkulu. Lesisehlo

sasenzeka njalo uma ehla entabeni, emva kokuba kade ebone yona inkazimulo

kaNkulunkulu (Ekso. 34:30, 34).

Ukukhanya kukaNkulunkulu okukhanyisela umhlaba wonke, kufanekiswa minyaka

yonke enkonzweni yobusuku bePhasika ngeKhandlela elikhulu (elifanekisa

uKhristo ovukile kwabafileyo), lokhu kwenzeka ngesikhathi wonke amakholwa

esokhela amakhandlela awo kulelikhandlela lePhasika. Kuyinto efanayo

nokushunyayelwa kokholo oluba wubhaqa lokukhanyisa izindlela zethu zempilo

yakulomhlaba.

UPhapha uFrancis usho egcizelela, esifundisa ukuthi thina makholwa asiphili

njengezinhlwa, kodwa sibumbene simunye ngokholo ebudlelwaneni bethu.

Ngaleyondlela ukholo lwethu lusifundisa ukuthi uthando lukaJesu Khristo

lwasilethela impilo intsha, nokuthi lufika kithina ngenkumbulo noma ubufakazi

babazalwane esinabo inkonzweni. Lona lolukholo luyaphila lunemisebenzi emihle

ngenxa yenkumbulo yabazalwane abayisakhiwo seBandla. Yingakho iBandla

silibiza ngokuthi linguMame, othi ngokufunzelelwa nguMoya Ocwebileyo

uMthokozisi asifundise ukukhuluma ulimi lokholo. (Bheka inkulumo kaJesu

yokuvalelisa kubafundi bakhe, Jn.14:26).

AmaSakramente nokuShunyayelwa koKholo

Kuyinqubo yeBandla ukudlulisela ezizukulwaneni ngezizukulwane zamakholwa

ingcebo nenkumbulo yalo, l.k. imfundiso yobuphostole namasiko eBandla,

ngokusizwa nguMoya Ocwebileyo. IBandla lenza lokhu ngendlela efanayo

nomndeni odlulisela kubantwana balo amasiko omndeni.

Indlela IBandla elidlulisela ngayo ingcebo yamasiko alo ezizukulwaneni, ngama-

sakramente. Ngesikhathi ama-sakramente egujwa ezinkonzweni zeBandla, aveza

amandla okungenisa ngomzimba nangomphefumulo umuntu (owagubhayo)

esimweni sobudlelwane (obuhle) nabany’abantu. UPhapha Francis lokhu ukubeka

kanje: “(Amasakramente) adlulisela phambili inkumbulo yezinto ezenzeka

ezikhathini (ezingaphambili) nasezindaweni ezithile empilweni yethu, axhumanisa

lezizinto nayoyonke imizwa yethu.”7

Umbhabhadiso yilona sacrament lokuqala lapho sikuzwa khona lokhu kuxhumana

kwemizwa yethu nezinto ezenzeka. Umphostole uPaulusi usebenzisa amazwi

anohlonze ukuchaza lento eyenzeka embhabhadisweni womuntu:

“sangcwatshwa kanye noKhristo embhabhadisweni wokufa kwakhe, ukuze kuthi-

ke njengoba yena wavuswa kwabafileyo ngodumo lukaYise, nathi futhi sihambe

empilweni yakhe entsha” (Rom.6:4).

Ayike, kuwowonke amasakramente ayisikhombisa eBandla, imfihlakalo yokholo

ikhonjiswe ngokupheleleyo esidlweni sesakramente eliNgcwele Cwe laseLathini.

amakholwa efumana khona uthando olunzulu lobuntu bukaJesu Khristo,

zesakrament eliyiNgcwele Cwe: eyokuqala wumyalezo kaJesu ekudleni kokugcina

lapho ethi, “Yenzani lokhu nenzele ukungikhumbula,” okukhombisa ukuthi

lelisakramente liyinkumbulo yesehlo esikhulu ngokumangalisayo sosindiso

lwesintu, ukufa nokuvuka kukaKhristo. eyesibili lelisakramente liyisimangaliso

sothando lukaKhristo kithina bantu. L.k., lisho ukubakhona ngempela kukaKhristo

eMiseni, ngesikhathi sokuphendukiswa, isinkwa siba yinyama newayini liba yigazi

lakhe, okungukudla kwemiphefumulo yethu.

Ukholo nobuLungiswa kuBantu bonke

Encwadini eyabhalelwa amaHebheru sifunda ngokholo lwawokhokho kanye

nabantu abalungileyo, abesilisa nabesifazane eThestamenteni eliDala. Ngempilo

yabo bakhombisa ukuthi ukholo luwuhambo lwempilo kithina bantu; kanti futhi

lungukuzilungisela ukwakha idolobha noma indawo lapho siyohlala khona.

UNowa wakha umkhumbi lapho kwaphephela khona umndeni wakhe nezinye

izidalwa ezasinda kuzamcolo (Hebr.11:7). Ngesikhathi uAbrahamu esadwanguza

endleleni eyayimyisa lapho ayingazi khona, wayehlala etendeni elandulela indlu

eqinile, l.k. idolobha ayibizelwe kulo (Hebr.11:9-10. Ukholo lwekholwa luqinile

uma luncike ekuthembekeni kuka Nkulunkulu (Iz.65:16), nokuthi akungatshazwa

ukuthi uyosifeza isethembiso sakhe, uyolakha lelodolobha okuzohlalwa kulo.

Akusilona ukholo oluqinile ngqi kuphela oludingekayo, kodwa futhi bubalulekile

nobudlelwane obuphilayo nobunothando bezakhamizi zalelodolobha elisha.

Lezozakhamizi ngabantu abanokholo, abakhanyiselwe wuthando uNkulunkulu

asithanda ngalo kusukela ekuqaleni (kwezulu nomhlaba). Lapha sikhuluma

ngomphakathi omusha wamakholwa, anobulungiswa, nomthetho, noxolo.

Yingaleyondlela-ke ukholo luphenduka lube wubulungiswa kuzozonke izakhamizi.

Yilapho futhi kuqhamuka khona abaholi abanohlonze abazobusa ngokulunga,

njengomphrofethe uSamuel nenkosi uDavid.

Ukholo noMndeni

Emlandweni wokholo luka-Abrahamu, incwadi yamaHebheru iyachaza ukuthi

isibusiso sisuka kuyise siye endodaneni (Hebr.11:20-31). Ngaleyondlela umndeni

yisona sizinda esibalulekile lapho ukukhanya kokholo kuvela khona.

Kusemndenini lapho uPhapha Francis egcizelela ukubaluleka komshado

osimemeyo phakathi komyeni nonkosikazi. Kusemshadweni kuphela lapho

ukholo luthola khona ukukhula lunakekelwe iminyaka ngeminyaka. Yebo,

wubudlelwane bokuthandana phakathi kwendoda nomkayo, abazinikele omunye

komunye ngebhande lomshado, okubenza babe nyamanye ngeqiniso.

Ngokusizwa yigrasiya likaNkulunkulu abashadileyo bezwa ukujabula

okumangalisayo ngokuba nesabelo noNkulunkulu umdali, emfihlakalweni

yokuzala okuletha impilo entsha. Wukholo olwenza abantu baqonde ukudepha

kwengcebo yokuzala abantwana. Abesifazane abathathu eMbhalweni oyingcwele

bayisibonelo esihle kulokhu ngokholo lwabo olunzulu olwenza ukuba banqobe

ubuhlungu bokungazali iminyaka eminingi. Ngokubambelela kwabo

emthandazweni, benxusa, bekhala izinyembezi baphumelela ukuguqula isimo

sobuhlungu benhliziyo saba yinjabulo echichimayo. Laboke ngoSara unina ka

Isaka, uHanna unina kaSamuweli, noElizabethe unina ka Johanisi umbhabhadisi.

Okunye okuligugu lomndeni izigaba ezahlukene zokukhula kobudlelwane

emndenini. Isigaba sobuntwana sisentekenteke kakhulu, yisona esidinga

ukunakekelwa ngeso elibukhali labazali. Laphake uPhapha wethula isinxuso

esikhulu kubazali bamakholwa ukulufundisa ngenhliziyo nangomnako omkhulu

ukholo; nokuthi babelane nabantwana babo ulwazi asebeluzuzile kweyabo impilo

njengamakholwa. Kufanele bakwenze lokhu kwabelana ngokholo nabantababo

kuze kube sebefike esigabeni sokusebenzisa ingqondo, okuyisigaba sokukhula

okholweni. Isikhathi esinzima kakhulu ekukhuleni komntwana yileso esevile

eminyakeni elishumi kuya phezulu. Iningi inselelo ngalesisikhathi, lapho umuntu

omusha eseqala ukuzicabangela yena, nokwenza izinqumo izithile empilweni

yakhe. Phela basuke bengakafiki ebudaleni. Lesi kubona yisikhathi sokuzifuna

ukuthi bangobani, ukuthi likuphi iqiniso, nokuthi impilo isho ukuthini. Kuyoyonke

imizamo abayenzayo abasha ngalesisikhathi basuke belangazela “ukuba nempilo

nokuba nayo ngokupheleleyo …” (Jn.10:10b). Abanye babo bayaphumelela

ukuyithola impilo, besizwa ngabazali babo kanye neBandla. Kodwa abanye

iyabadukela impilo. Kaninginingi kudingeka ukubekezela nesineke kubona abantu

abasha uqobo, kanye nokuzama ukubaqonda nokubabekezelela ezinkingeni zabo,

ngasohlangothini lwabazali.

INduduzo kanye neSibindi ekuHluphekeni

NguSanti Paulusi okhuluma ageqe amagula mayelana kokuxhumana phakathi

kokuhlupheka nokholo lweVangeli. Usebenzisa amagama ayizifanekiso enza

leyonto ayichazayo icace ithi bha, njengegama elithi: “ingcebo,” ukusho igugu

lombiko weVangeli, kanye nelinye elithi: “izitsha zobumba,” ukufanekisa

ubuthakathaka bomshumayeli weVangeli (2Khor.4:7-10). Kuyamsiza lokhu

umshumayeli weVangeli ukuba avume ngokuzithoba ukuthi ungumuntu-nje,

nokuthi kungamandla kaNkulunkulu ukuthi iVangeli lishunyayelwa kahle, hayi

ngaye. UPaulusi ubuye acaphune eSihlabelelweni 116 ukukhombisa ukuthi

wukuphikelela kwakhe okholweni okwamsiza ukunqoba ubuthakathaka:

“Ngilugcinile ukholo lwami, ngisho nalapho ngasengithi, ‘ngilimele kakhulu

emoyeni’” (v.10).

Kwenye indawo lapho ukuhlupheka kuhambisana khona nokholo, kushiwo

ngumlobi wencwadi eyabhalelwa amaHebheru. Kunendawo lapho ekhuluma

khona ngoMose, ubeka uthi: kungenxa yokholo “ukuthi wathatha ukufojiswa

okwenziwa kuMgcotshwa njenge gugu elikhulu kakhulu kunengcebo yase

Gibhithe, ngoba amehlo akhe wayewabhekise ekutholeni umvuzo” (Hebr.11:26).

Kukhona nesicaphuno esithathwe ku-Ishl.89:51, lapho igama elithi,

“uMgcotshwa” libhekiswe kubantu baNkulunkulu (l.k. isizwe sakwa-Izrayeli

eGibhethe); kanti encwadini yamaHebheru nguMose owahlushelwa uKhristo

(lokho-ke kushiwolo phezu kokholo lwakhe, ngoba phela uKhristo wayesazofika

ngesikhathi esizayo).

Njengamakholwa thina siyazi ukuthi ukuhlupheka kuyingxenye yesimo sobuntu

bethu. Nakuba kunjalo kodwa ngokholo sikuthola kunomqondo othile

(ukuhlupheka). Ukuhlupheka lokhu kungafika njengesehlo sothando; futhi

umuntu angakusebenzisa njengethuba lokukhula kanye nokuphenduka.

Ukuhlupheka kukaJesu Khristo uqobo lwakhe kwaphenduka ithuba lokuba yena

ahlanganiswe abe munye noYise!8

Njengamakholwa thina saphiwa igunya lokuba nokukhanya kokholo, yilona elenza

sibone ukuhlupheka, bese senza imizamo yokukuqeda. UPhapha uFrancis

ukhomba izibonelo ezimbili zalobuqhawe emlandweni weBandla. UFrancis

ocwebileyo wase-Assisi kanye nomuntu owayenoqhoko, kanye noMama Teresa

obusisiweyo kanye nabantu abampofu base-Calcutta. Ukholo lwethu

kuNkulunkulu wothando mhlawumbe ngeke kusinike amandla okukuqeda nya

ukuhlupheka, nokho kuyisibani esisikhanyisela indlela ebusuku, futhi kwanele

ukusigcina ohambweni lwethu …. kuyisibonakaliso sokubakhona eduzane kwethu

kothando lukaNkulunkulu; nomlando wobuhle obukhona obuthinta zonke izehlo

zokuhlupheka, kusivezela imisebe yokukhanya … Ukuhlupheka kusikhumbuza

ukuthi ukholo lusebenzela ubulungiswa ngokusinikeza ithemba.”9

UBusisiwe Lowo Owakholwayo

Isifanekiso sembewu nomhlwanyeli siyatholakala kubavangeliste bokuqala

abathathu. Kodwa kuseVangelini lika Lukasi kuphela lapho sithola khona incazelo

ngembewu eyawela emhlabathini omuhle, ethi: “yilabobantu abathi sebelizwile

izwi baligcine enhliziyweni enhle nelungileyo, bese bethela izithelo

ngokubekezela” (Lk.8:15).

Wona lamazwi “…enhliziyweni enhle nelungileyo,” ayavela futhi ezindaweni

ezithile kuLukasi lapho echaza khona ngokholo lukaMariya emukela izwi

izithembiso zikaNkulunkulu zizofezeka (Lk.1:45). Okwesibili, ngobusuku obuhle

abelusi baphuthuma eBethlehema ukozozibonela ngawabo amehlo lombiko

othokozisayo wezingelosi; bafica uJosefa, noMariya, nomntwana elele

emkhombeni, base bexoxa kubo ngalokho ababekuzwile. ULukasi wengezelela

ngokuthi, “uMariya wabe esekhweza zonke lezizinto wazindla ngazo enhliziyweni

yakhe” (Lk.2:19). Okwesithathu, lesisisho sikaLukasi siyavela futhi ngesikhathi

umntwana uJesu elahlekile eThempeleni. Waze watholakala emva kwezinsuku

ezintathu ehlezi nabapriste ebalalela, ebabuza. UMariya wamthethisa uJesu

ngoba bebemfuna behluphekile. Yena waphendula ngokuthi bekufanele abe

kokukaYise. ULukasi uphetha lesiqephu kanje: “unina walondoloza zonke

lezizinto enhliziyweni yakhe” (v.51).

Kuleliphuzu lokuzalwa kukaMesiya okuhambisana nokholo lukaMariya, kukhona

indawo eyinselelo kuye, lapho imizwa iphikisana khona. Ngeke kube nokujabula

ngasosonke isikhathi; kuyobakhona nokuvivinywa nobuhlungu. Ukubaluleka

kokholo lukaMariya kulesisimo sokujabula nokuhlupheka, kubalulwa nguPhapha

Francis. Uthi umethulela isigqoko uMariya, abuye ambize ngetayitela lokuthi

“uyiNdodakazi yaseSiyoni.”10 Ukulunjaniswa kwemizwa ephikisanayo kuyavela

futhi ngamhla umntwana uJesu enikelwa eThempeleni, ngokwesiko lamaJuda.

Umuntu omdala uSimeon wamthatha umntwana wamphakamisa ebonga edumisa

uNkulunkulu ngokujabula. Emthandazweni wakhe obizwa kuthiwe, “yi-Nunc

Dimittis,” uSimeon ubonga uNkulunkulu ngokuba wamgcina kwaze kwaba

yilelithuba lapho ebona ngamehlo akhe ukwambulwa kokuzithabathela ubuntu

kweNdodana yoMuntu. Wabesebusisa abazali bomntwana, washo nesiprofetho

kuMariya unina wathi: “Bheka lo umiselwe ukuwa nokuvuka kwabaningi kwa-

Izrayeli, nokuba abe yisibonakalisa esiyophikiswa – kanti nenkemba iyohlaba

inhliziyo yakho – ukuze kwambulwe imicabango nezimfihlo zabaningi” (Lk.2:35).

Kodwa ukholo lukaMariya lusesicongweni phezu kwabobonke, ngoba yena

akakhulelwanga ngomuntu wesilisa, kodwa kuye kwaba ngokuthatshathwa

okungenasici. Emsebenzini wokugcwalisa izethembiso zakhe, uNkulunkulu

akavinjwa yilutho, ngisho nayimvelo imbala. Phezu kwalokho imvelo kaMariya

njengomuntu wesifazane iyiqiniso. Ngamandla kaMoya Ocwebileyo wemukela

esiswini sakhe iNdodana kaNkulunkulu, ngomzimba nangegazi. Ngalokhoke,

uJesu ungumuntu isibili, unemizwa yonke njengabantu bonke ngaphandle

kwesono: naye wayejabula, amangale, adinwe, alambe, enxanwe futhi akhathale.

Wahlushwa wafa wembelwa, ngosuku lwesithathu wavuka kwabafileyo.

Ngokholo lukaMariya bonke abesifazane babusisiwe, nesithunzi sabo simile njalo.

UMphriste unguMshumayeli weVangeli

Ensimini yokwalusa, umsebenzi omkhulu osemahlombe ompriste ukushumayela

iZwi, nokwamukelisa amasakramente kanye nokuphatha. Ukushumayela lokhu

yikhona okubaluleke kakhulu, njengoba umphostole uPaulusi eluleka uThimothi:

“Ngiyakuyala…shumayela umbiko ungayeki neze, kuthandeka noma

kungathandeki. Waphikise amanga, ulungise namaphutha (2Thim.4:1-2, 5).

Lomsebenzi uhambisana nokufundiswa kweKhathekisima. Empeleni, umphriste

nguyena umshumayeli wokuqala epherishi, njengoba nombhishobhi engu-

mshumayeli wokuqala kusifundabhishobhi sakhe.

Njengoba uhlelo lwakudala lwabashumayeli ababefundiswe ezikhungweni zabo

futhi bekhokhelwa lungasekho, manje sekunohlelo olusha lwabahlwanyeli bezwi,

abangamavoluntiya, futhi abangakhokhelwa. Kungumsebenzi wompriste

ukwenza uhlelo lokufundisa eziyingcwele, nokuqeqesha abahlwanyeli

epherishini/mishini yakhe. Kodwa lokho kuhle akwenze ngokulandela imigomo

yesifundabhishobhi kanye neyethimba leKhatekisima. Okwesibili ngukwamukelisa

amasakramente, okuyimpilo yamakholwa eBandleni. Kufanele likhuthalelwe

kakhulu iSakramente leMpenduko, ngoba yilona elilungiselela ngokomoya

amakholwa ukuba amukele kahle iSakramente eliyiNgcwele Cwe laseLathini.

Kulokhu, sengathi isibonelo esihle sika Johanisi Mariya Vianni ocwebileyo

owayezinikele ngokupheleleyo ekwamukeliseni lelisakramente, singalandelwa

yibobonke abaphriste. Umsebenzi wokuphatha izimali kanye nempahla yeBandla

eperishi, udinga ukuba bonke abapriste babe nobuqotho nokwethembeka

emakholweni nakumbhishobhi. Kungumgomo wesifundabhishobhi sethu ukuba

wonke amaperishi abe neKomidi leZimali, ukuze kubekhona ukubambisana okuhle

namakholwa. Lobuqotho esibushoyo yiwona khiye ozakusiyisa emgomweni

wokuzimela kwezezimali kusifundabhishobhi sonke.

Kubaluleke kakhulu ukuba isiFundabhishobhi saseMariannhill sikwamukele ukuthi

izindela zineqhaza elibalulekile emsebenzini wokushumayela iVangeli.

Siyabadinga abapriste namakhosazane abayizindela ngoba banezipho ezithile

ezidingwa ngamakholwa. Kulomsebenzi wokusakaza izindaba ezithokozisayo

zeVangeli masibambisane sixhasane.

Bafowethu abangabaphriste, ngiyanicela ukuba nibe ngabaholi abahamba phambi

kwezimvu. Ebuholini benu kuhle amakholwa anibone, babone nemisebenzi

yenu eniyenzayo, kanye nesibonelo esihle njengoba nihlezi phakathi kwabo,

ukuze banilandele. Kubalulekile futhi ukuba ningene phakathi kwabantu, uma

abantu benidinga kungabi lukhuni ukuba banithole. Kuhle futhi ukuba

nibahambele emakhaya abo, niwabusise ukuze kuxoshwe amadimoni. Kulokhu

kuvakashela amakholwa sengathi ningaqala kubantu abampofu, abangenalutho,

abanikela ngendibilishana yomfelwakazi. Ngaphezu kwakho konke nibe nendlebe

emakholweni. Uma amakholwa ekhuluma nani, niwalalele niqonde lokho

akushoyo. Uma kunezinkonondo ezisobala lungisani kulezondawo ngokushesha

ukuze abantu bangalahleki, bangalilahli ithemba.

Impela izinkinga nezingxabano zibakhona. Masizijwayeze ukuzixazulula, sihlale

phansi sikhulume nabo ngendlela enesithunzi, ngoba sesivuthiwe sesikhulile.

Ningabukeli phansi izeluleko zabafowenu abangabapriste. Njengoba sisebenza

nsimini yinye, makubekhona umoya wokulalelana, ukusizana nokuhloniphana

phakathi kwethu. Kubalulekile ukumazisa umbhishobhi ngezehlo

emishini/pherishini yakho. Akukuhle ukuthi usengaze ezwe ngamakholwa.

Kodwa ngiyakhuzisisa ukuba umpriste angatholakali eyokhuluma namakholwa

akwenye ipherishi izindaba zalapho ezingaqondene naye, ngaphandle uma ecelwe

ngupriste wendawo, kumbe ethunywe ngumbhishobhi ukosiza lapho.

UMphriste neGama eLihle

Phakathi kwezipho zonke esiphiwe zona njengabaholi beBandla, igama elihle liyigugu kakhulu. Masibe ngabapriste abahlezi bethokozile! Njengabantu bomthandazo masenze konke okusemandleni ukugwema izikhubekiso, ukuze siphephe, nokuba kusizakale amakholwa, ikakhulu lawo anokholo oluncane. Nakulokhu, umphostole uPaulusi usipha izeluleko ezinhle: “Inceku eyongamele kufanele ibe nesimilo esingasoleki … njengomuntu ophethe izindaba zomuzi wakhe kahle. Ngoba uma umuntu engazi ukuthi ngayewuphatha kanjani umuzi wakhe, angaliphatha kanjani iBandla likaNkulunkulu na?”(2Thim.3:2, 4-5).

Kuyoyonke imisebenzi yomphakathi ezimishini, kuhle nibambisane namakholwa,

athole ithuba lokusebenzisa amakhono awo ukuze kusizakale iBandla.

Kungumsebenzi wompriste ukuwafuna amakhono amahle uma ecashile phakathi

kwezimvu zakhe epherishi/mishini. Kubalulekile futhi ukunikeza amakholwa

ithuba lokuphefumula aveze imibono yawo ngalokho okwenziwayo, ukuze

silungise amaphutha size senze kangcono ngesikhathi esizayo. Mayibekhona

inqubekela phambili kwesikwenzayo. Ngaleyondlela kuhle umalusi abone

masinyane uma kungahambi kahle alungise kungakonakali kakhulu. Kodwa

amakholwa kufanele aqonde ukuthi kukhokonke inhlonipho nesithunzi sompriste

kubalulekile, ukuze ungonakali umoya omuhle epherishi. Kukhokonke ukholo,

ithemba nothando makuhambe phambili.

Ngaphezu kwakhokonke, ukholo lomphriste kufanele lulondeke luqine njalo.

Nalapho ehlangabezana nenselelo, kufanele aqinisele emthandazweni, futhi

angawuxegisi umthetho. Izinsuku zokuphumula, ukuthandaza, umzindlo,

nokuthola umeluleki wezokomoya kubaluleke kakhulu.

Amalungelo neziBopho zamaKholwa

Kuwowonke amakholwa esiFundabhishobhi saseMariannhill ngidlulisela lombiko

oqinile: Nina ninobupriste bobukhosi. Njengabantu baNkulunkulu ninelungelo

lokukhonzwa (ukusetshenzelwa) eBandleni. Kodwa futhi ninezibopho ezithile

khona lapha eBandleni. Okokuqala wukuya emasontweni ngamasonto

nangezinsuku ezinomthetho wesonto, namukele namasakramente. Khuthalani

emthandazweni emindenini yenu namalunga onke omndeni, ikakhulu intsha

nabantwana. Hambani njalo ngokwemfundiso nemithetho kaNkulunkulu

neyeBandla. Uma ubona ukuthi kukhona okungalungile empilweni yakho

kulungise, uye kobona umpriste ucele usizo. Uma umpriste ekukhuza khuzeka.

Ungayidoji imithetho nezimfanelo zeBandla, kwenze konke kahle ngesikhathi

esifaneleyo. Mkhokhe u-10% wakho, isondlo (lezozimali ezinqunyiwe),

nomnikelo; kwenze konke lokhu ngomoya omuhle wokuphana. Amandla onawo

avela kumdali wakho, mbonge ngezipho akupha zona.

Uma usuka epherishi yakho uyohlala kwenye indawo, kufanele ucele incwadi

yokwesula lapho usuka ukhona uyobhalisa kuleyo pherishi entsha. Kwenze lokhu

ngokuxhumana nabaphriste labo ababili ukuze bakweluleke kahle. Kwesinye

isikhathi kuvela izingxabano, ukungezwani, noma ubona ukuthi ubulungiswa

abukho, yiya kubaholi nezakhiwo zaleyo pherishi: umkhandlu wokwalusa noma

amakomidi aqondene, ulungise lolodaba. Uma kuwudaba oludinga umphriste,

bayokweluleka ukuba uye kuyena. Zonke izinto zilungiswa epherishi, ngoba lapho

kukhona abantu abavuthiwe, abakholwayo, bayazi ukuthi kwenziwa njani.

Izinkinga zixazululwa kanjalo eBandleni. Ungathathi udaba lwalapha epherishi

uyolukhuluma ngaphandle, ungababizi abantu bakwenye indawo bese wena

ucasha, ungafuni ukuvela obala. Ngokwenzenjalo unukubeza amagama amahle

abany’abantu kuleyo pherishi. Kodwa ngalokho nawe uqobo uyahlazeka.

Asisebenzi kanjalo eBandleni, sisebenza ngomoya wokholo, uthando,

nenhlonipho.

Isicelo sami esikhulu kinina makholwa wukuba nihloniphe abapriste

emapherishi/ezimishini, nibaxhase nangemikhuleko ukuba bafeze kahle

umsebenzi wabo. Uma kukhona okungagculisi, noma ubulungiswa bungekho,

kufanele kulandelwe izimiso namasiko eBandla ukulungisa lesosimo. Uma

kulungiswa udaba makunikezwe ithuba lokuphefumula bonke abantu

abathintekayo, ukuze iqiniso livele obala. Uma kuwudaba lwepherishi umphriste

nguye onezwi lokugcina. Ngokubona kwakhe ebonisene nabanye abaphriste,

udaba angalwethula kumbhishobhi okunguyena onezwi lokugcina

kusifundabhishobhi.

Masiphethe lomzindlo ngomthandazo kaPhapha Francis kuMariya ocwebileyo:

“Mame, siza ukholo lwethu!

Vula izindlebe zethu ukuba silalele izwi likaNkulunkulu, futhi

Siliqonde uma esibiza.

Vusa kithina isifiso sokulandela ezinyathelweni zakhe,

sisize ukuba sithintwe wuthando lwakhe, ukuze nathi simthinte ngokholo.

Sisize ukuba sizethule ngokupheleleyo kuye, nangokumethemba

nokukholwa othandweni lwakhe, ikakhulu ngezikhathi zokuvivinywa,

nalapho singaphansi kwethunzi lesiphambano, yilapho ukholo lwethu

kufanele luvuthwe luqine.

Faka enhliziyweni yethu ukholo nokujabula kwaLowo Ovukile.

Sikhumbuze ukuthi labo abakholwayo abasahlezi bodwa.

Sifundise ukubona zonke izinto ngamehlo ka Jesu

ukuze abe wukukhanya endleleni yethu.

Sengathi lokhu kukhanya kokholo kungalokhu kukhula kithina,

kuze kufike ukusa kwalolosuku olungafiyo

olunguKhristo uqobo lwakhe,
