Eco Charge is a creative event production company working with some of the UK’s largest festivals to provide amazing content with an eco twist!

Our creative collective pioneers extraordinary, playful environments that require human participation to ignite the action!

Our thinking

Festivals provide people with a real sense of belonging and social integrationand we believe that a festival and it’s audience truly benefit from each otherwhen it becomes a shared and participatory experience.

Simply we apply game mechanics into real world activities with the aim ofimproving the experience through play. Interactive Living SignageBringing signage and walls to life by creating messages with wild flowers and interactive energy games that invite people to interact with the message, whilst pro-moting the importance of wildflowers to the ecosystem.

By installing pumps, push buttons and sensors we create interactive games which for example result in a sound activation of Handels water music and spray watering machines being triggered to water the plants on the signage!

A standard size is 6m x 2.5m and made up of 800 wildA standard size is 6m x 2.5m and made up of 800 wild-flowers, creating a truly enchanting natural and sustain-able ‘Welcome’ experience. With legacy in mind we install a suggestions box encouraging people to suggest deserving locations for the plants to be re-used post the event.

The Pongathon DomeFollowing on from the highly popular London Pongathon parties, we are

launching ‘Pongathon Festivals.’

Pongathon is a ping pong social playground with music, art, design and

loads of fun! A pop up ping pong party like no other… and so much

more!

and wonderful array of pong-themed audio-visual games, projection art,

interactive installations and technological experiments.

featuring a magically modified pong robot, that triggers sound

effects/bang and flashes each time it fires, enriched by a hidden smoke

machine. Let the wizardry begin!

Other tables include interactive visuals and music visualisers, mini pong-

tables, UV ping pong and retro pong that is played with joystick game

controllers.

Charge ‘n’ Chill With a festival full of gadget loaded revellers and the pitiful battery life of modern devices, Eco Charge provides the UK’s largest people powered mobile phone and camera charging party - as seen on BBC, ITV and Sky Arts.

Charge ‘n’ Chill has a capacity to re-charge 2,000 Charge ‘n’ Chill has a capacity to re-charge 2,000 devices per day all powered by pedal power and solar energy. Charge’n’ Chill is normally hosted in our 12m diameter forest marquee and compli-mented with DJ’s and performances or from our 23ft Airstream charge point.

A truly interactive, people powered experience keeping people green, safe and connected.

Charge ‘n’ Chill has recharged 50,000+ devices so far...!

Silent Disco ‘Dance ’n‘ Charge’Bringing life to the ever growing need for Bringing life to the ever growing need for people to charge their phones at music festivals, we have combined a silent disco party that harnesses people’s dance energy to charge the audiences phone.

People enter the area and hand their People enter the area and hand their phone in at the charge station and start dancing! There is a digital display of how many phones are being charged in rela-tion to their dance energy!

Slam Dunk the Junk!A selection of bins created as comedy char-acters that surprise and talk to people through directional speakers.

The bins combine comedy and game me-chanics to encourage people to use them and recycle. For example basketball bins and archery ranges with point scoring calculators and celebratory experiences that announce individuals are green heroes and name and shame those who drop litter!!

BinRobot At four metres high and made from 33 pink wheelie bins, this At four metres high and made from 33 pink wheelie bins, this friendly and engaging giant walks and talks and moves around, towering over a double-decker bus. He also has an environmental message, being made of recycled material himself. At three times the height of the average man in Brit-ain and about the size of the average two-storey house, the giant tours the streets as an ambassador for recycling and is available for hire for festivals, experiential and community available for hire for festivals, experiential and community events.

Eco Charge can also provide stunning, close proximity pyro-technic effects that will add extra excitement when the Giants appear at your event. Add a parade and a finale show and you have the perfect spectacular for your festival.

Digital Eco-FunfairDigital Funfair combines new media, dance music, Digital Funfair combines new media, dance music, film and stuff found lying around in the street to create an experience which people will remember for a long time. Its empowering media for all the family. Largely funny and occasionally funky! Below are just a few of the elements...

PACbike PACbike is an interactive installation which uses a reclaimed exercise bicycle as an interface for clas-sic arcade games such as Pacman and Space In-vaders. Beat Jigsaw is a jigsaw puzzle which the user can play with to create music and vj style graphics.

Virtual Coconut Shy consists of three televisions mounted on poles showing images of recycling bins and the idea being you have throw different types of waste and get them in the correct bins.

Smack Bottom Guitar Hero Smack Bottom Guitar Hero comprises of two mannequins - one male, one female - impaled on poles. Spank and slap them in time to the music to play.

The Laundry ClubFor those festival revellers who get down and dirty we provide an opportunity to carry on the party and wash their mud laden clothes!

This modular installation is based in our laundry This modular installation is based in our laundry club container; central to the activity is a roof top party with DJ’s and a kinetic dancefloor that harnesses’ human dance energy. The energy is stored and in addition to our solar solution it provides the energy to power the stack of washing machines inside!

People can choose to dance or pay, encouraging People can choose to dance or pay, encouraging them to share their energy and get involved in sustainable behaviours. We provide them with an all in one suit while their clothes wash and they receive a text when their items are clean and dry.
