In comparison to another
music magazine, my
magazine cover has all the
typical conventions of a
real music magazine. I
have chosen a unique
colour scheme as the
indie/alternative music
genre focuses on
individuality and variety.

My contents page fits the
conventions of existing
music magazines. The
contents are split to make it
easier for the audience to
access the article they find
the most interesting. The
colour scheme continues
from the front cover to
make the magazine look
professional.

My double page spread follows the conventions of existing music magazines. By following these conventions and the results of my primary research, I have laid out my page so that there is one large dominating image, A large title that takes up half of the page and an article in 3 columns. The page reflects the genre of the magazine and the artist. To continue the colour scheme, I used it in the page numbers to make sure all pages look like they are from the same magazine.
