NPI 2015 Accomplishments

• Partnered with the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) to highlight photonics as part of the BRAIN Initiative

• Completed BRAIN Technology Roadmap for agency program managers – distributed by OSTP

• Engaged Photonics Community in launch of an Integrated Photonics Manufacturing Institute (AIM Photonics in NY)

• Invited to White House round table on High Performance Computing

• Photonics language included in key legislation
