An article from the website of Health Services Research called “Demand for outpatient mental health services in a heavily insured population: The case of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Associations Federal Employees Health Benefit Program” basically explains the matter of employees wanting Health Benefits.
The Concept that applies to this is the

Researchers of the article studied the results of having Health Care Benefits.
The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association’s Federal Employees Health Benefits Plan experienced some changes from the High and low option plans that the researchers recorded.
- If an employee received Health Benefits there were two options:1. High-option plan : 20% copayment and a $100 deductible 2. Low- option plan: 25% copayment and a $ 200
deductible.This would depend on what kind of insurance you would qualify
for.
HOW???
ADVANTAGES OF HEALTHCARE BENEFITS
1. It would decrease absence and improve employee health.
2. For some employees, improve their work performance.
3. It would attract more employees.
4. Employees will accept better benefits in the matter of a higher salary.
DISADVANTAGES OF HEALTH BENEFITS
1. It could lead to costly lawsuits or regulatory fines.
2. The more benefits a business offers, the more it must pay for other company expenses.
3. The cost of health insurance will continue to increase
WHY??
This research study was experimented in an highly insured community.
This probably means that employees aren’t getting paid well and or not enough. And it also depends on the economical issues within the community.
Employees are looking to get family-friendly benefits.

SOCIAL COLLECTIVITY
The social collectivity within blue cross blue shield is that they give quality, secure, and affordable health care insurance to those in need.
There are many programs within their organization that they handle like: Obesity Prevention, Medical and financial assistance, maternal and child programs, school programs and more.
Blue Cross Blue Shield companies make differences within their community to ensure that people are getting the quality, affordable, and secured health care insurance possible.
ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS
Blue Cross Blue Shield has their way of making sure that the people are getting the best insurance there is by interacting with the community to make it healthier, create partnerships and groups to improve health care, and are very diverse.
