Legal Notice (Continued from Page 1.) have been prepared and invitations have been extended to contractors to bid on the proposed curb and gutter * installations on Cromwell Place, Club Road, Ransom Avenue, DuBois Avenue, Clinton Street and Lafayette Place. Due to the limited time before freezing, Mr. Dickson asked that bids be returned on Wed- nesday, October 13th, and asked that the Board meet at that time for that purpose. Cromwell Place, Club Road and Ransom Avenue were staked out ready for the grades to be set, in order that the contractor might pro- ceed as soon as the award was made. Mr. Dickson reported having re- ceived letters .from Mr. Portener of the Labor Department setting forth the prevailing wage scale re- quired for the contemplated curb and gutter construction as well as answering questions of the wages in the employment of additional help on the maintenance work of the Village. On motion of Trustee Scheu, sec- onded by Trustee Bell, a resolution was passed that no wall, fence, struc- ture or hedge be erected or main- tained on any corner lot or proper- ty which may cause danger to traffic on the street by obscuring the view. (Continued from Page 1.) have been prepared and invitations have been extended to contractors to bid on the proposed curb and gutter * installations on Cromwell Place, Club Road, Ransom Avenue, DuBois Avenue, Clinton Street and Lafayette Place. Due to the limited time before freezing, Mr. Dickson asked that bids be returned on Wednesday, October 13th, and asked that the Board meet at that time for that purpose.

Cromwell Place, Club Road and Ransom Avenue were staked out ready for the grades to be set, in order that the contractor might proceed as soon as the award was made.

Mr. Dickson reported having received letters .from Mr. Portener of the Labor Department setting forth the prevailing wage scale required for the contemplated curb and gutter construction as well as answering questions of the wages in the employment of additional help on the maintenance work of the Village.

On motion of Trustee Scheu, seconded by Trustee Bell, a resolution was passed that no wall, fence, structure or hedge be erected or maintained on any corner lot or property which may cause danger to traffic on the street by obscuring the view.

' The report of Captain Gordon Hurley, commanding officer of the Second Precinct, of police activities

* in the Village of Sea Cliff for the month of September was filed.
