FOR SUBSCRIBERS WHO NEED MORE HIGH-SPEED DATA BUT WANT TO STAY BELOW A $50 PRICE POINT, our newly-updated $45 is a perfect fit. This past January, we improved our $45 plan's data by adding more 4G LTE data as well as 2GB of 3G with DataXtra, bringing the total high-speed data up to 7 GB. Now we're adding another 3 GB of 3G with DataXtra to our $45 plan, bringing the grand total up to 10 GB of high-speed data! Best of all, subscribers who are already on Ultra Mobile's current $45 plan will automatically get the additional data on their first renewal date after April 5, 2017. There's no extra cost, and they don't need to do anything – the additional 3GB of 3G data will appear in their account as soon as they renew! Here's what's included on the updated $45 plan:

UNLIMITED TALK & TEXT

Last month, we reminded you about the amazing ways that Ultra Mobile is bringing maximum data to subscribers. This month, we're raising the bar yet again with two brand new ways that we’re bringing our customers the absolute best in high-speed data:

STARTING APRIL 5, WE'VE GOT A NEW $54 PLAN with a total of 20 GB of high speed data, PLUS we're loading up our $45 plan with a total of 10 GB of high-speed data!

Although the average subscriber only uses 2-3GB of data, some will use more and everyone wants to know they won’t run out. While it is easy to add data bolt-ons at any time throughout the month, having the data already included on the plan is even easier! Our customers who want extensive unlimited international calling as well as tons of high-speed data will get the best of both worlds with our new $54 plan. With 10 GB of 4G LTE data, as well as 10 GB of 3G with DataXtra, our $54 plan brings subscribers a solid 20 GB of high-speed data every month! As if that weren't enough, the $54 also includes our 60+ unlimited destinations as well as a one-time $15 International Roaming Credit.

Here's a rundown of everything included on the new $54 plan:

Pakistandestination Fascination:

Pakistan has two official languages: Urdu and English. The name Pakistan is Urdu for "Land of the Pure."

Pakistan has an unofficial national beverage! It's called Roh, and is made from pressed sugarcane juice.

One of Pakistan's biggest marvels is the Karakoram Highway. It's among the highest-elevated paved roads on Earth, passing through the Karakoram mountain range at an elevation of 15,397 feet. Its location made it a huge challenge to build, and the highway is considered one of the Wonders of the World.

The area that is now Pakistan was once home to the Indus Valley Civilization. Originating roughly 9,000 years ago, it's ranked alongside Ancient Egypt and Ancient Mesopotamia as one of the oldest human civilizations on Earth.

even on weekends. I also like Ultra's easy, streamlined activation process.

WHEN YOU'RE NOT WORKING, WHAT DO YOU MOST ENJOY DOING?I love spending time with my three-year-old niece whenever I have the chance, even if that means watching "Wreck-It Ralph" three times in a row! I also enjoy playing cricket, as well as video games.

ARE YOU A SPORTS FAN?

I am a huge sports fan! I watch baseball, basketball and soccer, just to name a few. My favorite team is the San Antonio Spurs – I have yet to see anyone play the way they play, and I love how they can turn the page. Also, I am NOT a fan of the Yankees, because they don't let their players sport a full beard. You have to support beards!

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE FOOD?

When I'm hungry, it doesn't matter! I do love Mediterranean food, and I try to stay away from foods that are too spicy.

NAME SOMETHING THAT MOST PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU.

There are a lot of things, but most would probably be surprised to know that I speak English (lots of people assume that I don't). Some other things: I am not as religious as I seem, I love watching movies and I believe in telling the truth. The truth will set you free! //

WHAT LED YOU TO THE DECISION TO START YOUR BUSINESS?

Before I started my business, there was only one cellphone store in this neighborhood, and they didn't seem to have the energy or passion to serve the community. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and start my own business – I wanted to provide the hard-working families in my community with better service and affordable pricing.

DESCRIBE YOUR JOURNEY TO THE U.S.

Before coming to the U.S. I was a student in Pakistan at Pakistan English Medium, where I started learning English. When I came to this country, I understood English fluently. However, I wasn't too confident in speaking or replying back in English, so high school wasn't exactly a great experience for me socially. That's

why I went to college to learn and better my communication skills. It wasn't always easy, but my experience here in the U.S. is something I would never change. WHAT HAVE BEEN YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGES AT WORK?

In the Retail field, you constantly have to answer and repeat the same responses being asked in different forms all day, so developing patience can be a big challenge. You need to treat everyone as an individual and keep a positive mindset day in and day out.

SINCE ENTERING THIS INDUSTRY, WHAT'S THE BIGGEST CHANGE YOU'VE SEEN?

I've seen a lot happen throughout my career in the cellphone business, but the biggest change I've noticed is competition expanding and doubling up. That has caused a negative and positive effect.

The positive would be more affordable pricing for the consumer, but negative for the Retailer since it waters down profits!

IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN TIME TO YOUR FIRST DAY ON THE JOB, WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOURSELF?

I would tell myself to be more patient and always remember to treat people with respect. There are times when customers ask me if I can teach them how to use certain features and functions on their cellphone so they can keep in touch with friends and family back home, and they deserve to know how to do so. There's no such thing as a dumb question.

WHY DO YOU CHOOSE ULTRA FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS?

I decided to start selling Ultra because of your pricing – Ultra was the first prepaid carrier to offer a competitive and affordable $19 plan. Ultra also offers great rates to Pakistan, which serves the majority of my callers around here. Other carriers are unreliable, and customers don't have confidence in these new carriers popping up every month. Ultra has really built a strong foundation!

WHICH COUNTRIES ARE CALLED THE MOST BY YOUR CUSTOMERS?

Pakistan would be the top country, but I also serve customers who call Bangladesh, India, China, Mexico and Uzbekistan.

WHAT'S THE BEST PART ABOUT WORKING WITH ULTRA?

I can honestly say the best part is the support I get from Account Executives. They always make themselves available,

WHICH CREATIVE TEAM MEMBER HAS BEEN WITH ULTRA THE LONGEST?

Jessica Prentice, Creative Director: That would be me! I was brought over by VP of Marketing Ryan Gonzales back when there were under 15 people at Ultra. I was told I'd be building the Creative Department, which

sounded aspirational due to the fact that nobody had ever heard of Ultra Mobile, myself included. I wondered how we’d ever have enough work for more than one creative person. (Insert pic of me eating my words here!) Almost 4 years later, we have a robust and varied team of creative talents that I’m amazed I get to work with every day.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THE DAY?Tanya Song, Senior Director: The morning. 10:30am. This is when we gather as a team to discuss our creative projects and challenges of the day. I get to experience the collaboration, partnership and comradery that makes us who we are as a team. Every person embraces her/his work with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. I feel grateful.

WHAT'S A TYPICAL DAY LIKE IN THE CREATIVE DEPARTMENT?Casey Lombardo, Copywriter: Hugs. Coffee. Dream analysis. Team check-in. More coffee. Brainstorming. GIFs. Nerf guns. Hunting. Searching. Scratching. Finding. Singing. Pitching. Critiquing. Green lighting. Starting over. Coffee (again). Dog walks. Meetings. Memes. Popcorn. Makingmakingmaking. Packaging. Collecting. Posting. Panicking. Pranking. Laughing. Finishing. Breathing. Maybe just a little more coffee, if you’re having some.

WHAT'S THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE THE CREATIVE TEAM HAS EVER TACKLED?Daniel Menezes, Animator: The biggest challenge has probably been the department's growth from its humble beginnings into the well-oiled machine that it is today. When you are a part of the fastest-growing company in America, growing pains are inevitable. One of those moments was back in early 2015 when only four people made up the entire creative team. We had Eddie designing, Leigh creating Ultra TV content, me doing print production and Jessica steering the entire ship, conceptualizing and building print campaigns, plus designing the

UltraMobile.com website. Workloads were massive and stress levels were high, but we rose above it all. Soon Melody joined the team and helped lighten the load, and Alejandra came soon after to help sail us into calmer waters. Now with Eileen as Art Director and Casey as Copywriter, we are unstoppable!

COMPLETE THIS SENTENCE: YOU'D NEVER MAKE IT AS A MEMBER OF THE ULTRA CREATIVE TEAM WITHOUT…Alejandra Garbutt, Designer: … being a skilled, well-rounded teammate. Every day I am so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Creatives I truly respect and admire on professional and personal levels. We can count on each other for so many things like uplifting encouragement, constructive feedback, a helping hand and even cool music and podcast suggestions. We’re an agile and nimble team that is dedicated to delivering our best work possible. I cannot imagine producing the quality and volume of work we do without the multifaceted, talented and creative ecosystem we have.

WHAT'S BEEN THE BIGGEST SURPRISE ABOUT WORKING FOR ULTRA (SO FAR)?Melody Hoffman, Designer: The biggest surprise has been our evolution over the span of my two years here at Ultra. From our company size, to our innovative plan offerings, to the way our creative team has blossomed into a full-service, in-house creative agency, we've done so much growing!

HOW IS ULTRA DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER PLACE YOU'VE WORKED?

Eileen Delgado, Art Director: What sets Ultra apart from the other places I’ve worked are the amazing people and the diversity of it all. From one day to the next, I could be working on a website, a company t-shirt or a broadcast commercial. Most importantly, I feel I am appreciated and entrusted to take initiative to get things done.

WHAT'S YOUR STRONGEST MOTIVATOR TO COME TO WORK EVERY DAY?Eddie Menezes, Designer: My strongest motivator is the Ultra community I get to be a part of. Ultra Mobile is more than a place of employment – it's a place where friends are made and experiences are shared. Ultra has truly become a family where we learn, laugh and grow together. It is special characteristics like these that make coming to work an enriching experience each day.

WHAT IS THE MOST REWARDING PROJECT YOU’VE WORKED ON AT ULTRA?Leigh Velasco, Animator: I think the most rewarding project that I’ve worked on thus far was the New $19/mo to India commercial that we produced this year. It was extremely satisfying to see the whole team collaborate on one idea to create a visually awesome mixed media commercial. That being said, I am definitely excited to see what comes next for our rad little department.

WHO'S THE NEWEST ADDITION TO THE TEAM?Brittany Ellis, Creative Services Traffic Coordinator: I have been with Ultra for 1 month now and it's been great! In my role, I work with every team member to keep the projects moving under

HOLA Spanish, of course, is "Hola." While the word's true origin is a bit of a mystery, it almost certainly shares roots with "Hello" in English. One theory is that it originated as a way to command someone to stop in their tracks, and there's definitely evidence for this in other Latin-based languages. (In French, the phrase "Ho là" literally translates to "Whoa there!")

AT ULTRA MOBILE, WE'RE FRIENDLY PEOPLE. WE SAY "GOOD MORNING" WHEN WE WALK INTO OUR OFFICE BUILDING, "HI" IN THE HALLWAYS, "HOW'S IT GOING?" IN THE OFFICE KITCHEN… BUT AFTER REALIZING ALL THE DIFFERENT WAYS TO SAY HELLO IN ENGLISH. IT'S EASY TO START WONDERING HOW IT'S DONE IN OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD. THIS MONTH, WE'RE TAKING A LOOK AT SOME WAYS OF SAYING "HELLO" IN SOME OTHER LANGUAGES!

DID YOU KNOW?

Just like in English, there are a wide variety of ways to greet someone in Mandarin. However, the most generic way is "Nĭ hăo" (你好) which conveys well wishes to the person you're addressing. To ask the question "How are you doing?" say "Nĭ hăo ma?" (你好吗) which means "Are you well?"

To casually greet a friend in Polish, say "Cześć" (pronounced "cheh-sh-ch") – but to take a more formal approach, say "Good day" with the words "Dzień dobry." "How are you doing?" is "Jak się masz?", but unlike in English, it's usually viewed as a question requiring a real answer rather than just a generic greeting. (Be ready for honesty!)

CześćBonjour你好 In French, the common way to greet someone is "Bonjour," which literally translates to "Good day." A more casual way to greet someone is "Salut," which you can use for "Goodbye" as well. If you're on the phone, "Allô" is the French greeting of choice.
