I listen to your wordsand wonder, why me? Ilookin your eyes but never seewhat Itruly want to see. Your words contradictyour actions and yet at the same timeit seems your actions contradict your actionsWhat do you want from me?And why don't you just ask?What would you like me to do?Why don't you just talk to me?Did it ever occur to you Iwant the same thing you do?But like you, Ican't seem to convey the message.Did you just figure you would play with my mind ordid you really mean it all.Just talk to me and give me a clue.SoIcould, could know what to do.

It hurts so bad this pain inside.The pain of want, love, desire, and confusion.No razors, no knives can ever compareto the pain in my heartEveryday the noose around my neckis being pulled tighter.What can I do but sit and die slowly.

Walking through. my mindis like walking through a dark hallwayI search blindly along the wall,groping for a light switch, but as always,in darkness you see nothing.In the back of my head I know there are doorsfor a door is what opened me to this darkness.I look for openings, door handles,but as always the eye deceives the hand.The darkness suffocates me.I had always liked the night,the sheer blackness of it all.However, after living my life in the dark,I know I need a small light in my path,a light bright enough to see the door handleto open to my future.Surrounded by meaningless livesSmothered by harmful rumorsSuffocated by fake smilesI slowly dieThe real me is hidden deepdown in the folds of liesdeep in the crevices of desiredeeper down in the holes of fear

the secrets told behind your back,Or never hear the vicious rumorstold by people who don't know the truth.To never wake up and realize your realityis starting to seem like an endless nightmare

.Know MeSome people wonder who the real me is.I answer if youwant to know me, the real me, don't ask my friends,don't ask my family,don't listen to the vicious rumors or liesthat are told behind my back.No one knows the real me but me.Everyone sees a facade,a mask of what .might be me. You can't lookbehind a wall larger than you. Ask me what I like,what I don't like.Ask me what I believe inand what I may not believe in.Ask me my hopes and my dreams. Ask me what I door don't want to do.Don't ask and stop listening.Search for a door in the wall and don't be afraidof what might be inside.Don't settle only for what you see.There may be moreto me than what I let you know.

Learning from a ChildPoor old you. Grew up too fast in too short a time.You don't even knowwhat it's like to be a kid.You look at the world from an old woman's eyes.You've seen too much for being so youngYou've heard too much for your young virgin's ears..You have too much hate for everyone and everything

for such a small heartYou look at children and wonder what they seeand how they see itYou are amazed at how easilythey can block out what they hear.You see aU the shine and hope and lovein a child's eyes and realize that achild sees everything as thoughhe were seeing it for the first time.Stare hard enough, look deep enough for that shineand you too will look at the worldthrough a child's eyes.You too will be able to block outall the unpleasant noises and most importantlyyou will learn to love with a child's heart.Uncondi tionally.
