Excellente nourriture. Service fantastique et magnifique communion. For those who didn’t do French: We went to Nannette and Pierre’s Restaurant. Ex- cellent food. Fantastic service and magnificent fel- lowship. Thank you Megan & James for a great night. How you managed to deliver such a great event to the 42 who were lucky enough to get a booking at this Five Star venue is something people are still talking about. You have set a new standard for our club. We also must thank the other members who helped provide the food and serve the hungry Rotarians. See Photos on pages 2 and 3. Fine weather is forecast for our 4 th Farmer’s Mar- ket. Heather has again allocated tasks, and thank- fully we have so much interest, that volunteer num- bers again exceed what we need. Hopefully anoth- er great result is in the making. The season of changeover events is now upon us with many clubs holding these in June. I know many of you are attending clubs that we interact with, along with our own changeover on June 25 th . We also have the Primary School Speech Contest, only one week away on Monday 15 at 6.30 pm at Hampton Primary School. I hope some of you can find the time to support this. This week we have Frank Kelly speaking on the Lockheed Martin SR-71 aircraft which is attracting strong interest from some of the aviation buffs in the club. Ross Phillips will chair the night.
