Behind the Panel General Operation

General Operation

Audio SettingPress theVOL knob toselectaudiomenu:VOL/BAS/TRE/BAL/FAD,androtate theknobtoadjust.

- VOLDisplay shows the volume level VOL andnumberfrom0to40.

- BASDisplayshowstheBASSlevel.BASSrange:-7to+7.

- BALDisplayshowstheBALANCElevel.BALANCErange:10L (full left) to10R(fullright).L=leftspeaker,R=rightspeaker.

Menu SettingPressMENUmore than2seconds toenterintomenumode,theneachpresschangesthemode.

- EQ Mode TheEqualizer functionappliespresetsoundeffectstotheunit’saudiooutputsignal.RotatetheknobtoselectEQsoundeffect:FLAT-CLASSIC-ROCK-POP-JAZZ-USERWiththeequalizerfunctionactivated,ifbassortreble isadjusted, theEQModewill revert to“Off”.Whentheequalizerfunctionisactivated,themost recentlyselectedbass/treble levelscannot be adjusted.When the equalizerfunctionisnotactive,theunitwillreturntothemostrecentlyselectedbassandtreblelevels.

- LOUD ON/ OFFWhen listening tomusicat lowvolumes, thisfeaturewillselectivelyboostcertainbassandtreblefrequencies.

- BEEP ON/ OFFThebeeptonefeatureallowstheselectionofanaudiblebeep tone tobeheardeach timethemenuisaccessed.

- SUBW ON/ OFFRotate theknob tochoosesubwoofer-outonoroff.

- 12 /24 HOURS12 HOURS MODE:

The clock displays in the type of 12 hours such as 11:18 AM.24 HOURS MODE: The clock displays in the type of 24 hours such as 20:18.

- PARKING: ON/OFFWhen it is in Parking “ON” mode, if you play the video disc, the screen will show “WARNING: Engage Parking Brake to View Video”.

- DX/LOCALSelectable when the current source is Radio mode.Choose radio distant or local.DX: Stations with strong and weak signals can be broadcast.LOCAL: Only station with strong signal can be broadcast.

- MONO/STEREOSelectable when the current source is Radio mode.This option allows you to select radio FM mono/stereo.

- AREA SETThisoptionallowsyoutoselecttheappropriatefrequencyspacingforyourarea.RotatetheknobtochooseUSAorEurope.

2. Take out SD/MMC CardPushSRCbuttontonon-SDmode,presstheSD/MMCcardtopopout.

3. Load USB DeviceInsertUSB device into theUSB jack.Theunit will read the fi le in the USB deviceautomatically.

Accessing Disc ModeIfadisc isalready in thediscslotbut isnotplaying,press theSRC buttonon the frontpanelorontheremotecontroltoswitchtotheDISCsource.ToplayfilesfromanSDorUSBthat isalready inserted, choose theCARDorUSBsource.Thediscplaybackscreen isindicatedbelow:

Bluetooth Mode

Auto ConnectPress theMENUbutton toentermainmenu,andselect [AUTOON]or [AUTOOFF] in themenu.AUTO OFF: After paired OK, if the distance between mobile phone and the unit is over 10 metres, the connection will exit. The Bluetooth technology will not automatically establish a connection.AUTO ON: After paired OK, if the distance between mobile phone and the unit is over 10 metres, the connection will exit. The Bluetooth technology will automatically establish a con-nection between the unit and the registered mobile phone when the transmission distance is 10 metres or shorter.Whether the automatic connection is ON or OFF, when power is off then on again, the unit Bluetooth will connect the mobile phone (if the Bluetooth function turning on) which is paired OK last time.

Note:1.Toconnectautomaticallyasshownabove,theunitmustconnectthemobilephonesuc-cessfullybefore.

2.Theunitwilltrytoconnectthemobilephonepairedwhenon,mostmobile phonewillconnectautomatically,someneedconnectmanuallyduetodifferentsoftwaresetting.

Music ModeA2DPA2DP is short for Advanced Audio Distribution Profile. The mobile phones supporting this function can transmit stereo audio, whereas the ones not supporting this function can transmit mono audio only.AVRCPAVRCP is short for Audio/Video Remote Control Profile. The mobile phones support-ing this function can control the playback of a Bluetooth audio player.In the mode of the music player working, if you want to make a phone call, disconnect A2DP, otherwise the LCD will display “BUSY“ when you dialing out.

3.Dependingon themobilephone, ifprivatemode isselected,whenyoumakeaphonecallbytheunit,orreceive, thevoicewouldbe transferred to themobile phone.ButsometimetheBluetoothmaybedisconnecttill thecommunicationends, thenconnectsyourmobilephone to theunitautomtically.Somemobile phonesmaybe need pairagain.

4.Formobile phone, theBluetooth devicenamemustbeprimarysymbolsornumbers.Otherwise, some unpredictable issuesmayoccur during theBluetoothdevicesconnectingandmakingphonecall.

5.After pairedOK, if no sound produced,pleasecheckwhether theBluetoothstereoaudioonthephoneswitchedON.
