With power disconnected to your electrical box, remove the old fixture. If the old fixture is attached to an electrical box that has more than two wire leads, use tape and markings to keep track of which wires were attached to each other.

To remove the COVER/REFLECTOR First: Using a Philips screwdriver and remove the screw(s). Setthem out of the way so they will not get lost

Make sure all power is turned off before installing fixture intothe plenum.

Place assembled fixture on a secure surface.

Remove the LENS/DIFFUSER by squeezing the sidesso that they disengage the tabs and set it out of theway so that it will not get damaged.

Second: Slide the COVER/REFLECTOR inward to disengage all the tabs. Once the tabs have all cleared remove the COVER/REFLECTOR and set it out of the way so that it will not get damaged.

While standing on a secure surface lift the Fixture(BODY/REFLECTOR with the END PLATES attached) up and insert one end into the “T” grid opening. Rotate the fixture so that the fixture can clear the sides of the opening in the “T” grid.

6

Rotate the Fixture so that the ends and sides line up with the “T” grid. Lower the fixture until it is resting securely on the “T” grid.

8

Feed the black, white and green leads from the main power supply through the access plate in the BODY/REFLECTOR and connect them to the corresponding wires from the driver and the ground lead attached to the BODY/REFLECTOR using UL approved wire connectors.

11

Continue to raise and rotate the Fixture into the plenum until it has completely cleared the “T” grid.

7

Remove the access plate, connect and secure the conduit pipe to the access plate through the K/O.

Feed the mains power supply through the conduit pipe and into the fixture.

9

Now that the fixture is seated securely in the “T” grid make sure the power is still turned off before connecting power leads.

Slide COVER/REFLECTOR outward while making sure the tabs in the BODY/REFLECTOR are engaging the slots in the small flange of the COVER/REFLECTOR.

Replace the LENS/DIFFUSER by squeezing it so that it can fit between the two tabs of the BODY/REFLECTOR and the two tabs of the COVER/REFLECTOR.

Secure the COVER/REFLECTOR to the BODY/REFLECTOR with screw(s).

14 15

To replace the COVER/REFLECTOR insert the side flange above the “T” grid and engage the tabs at each end with the slots in both END PLATES rotate the COVER/REFLECTOR upward into the plenum.

12

Turn power back on.

CARE AND CLEANINGYou may want to periodically clean the fixture using a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner and soft cloth. Do NOT use solvents or cleaners containing abrasive agents. When cleaning the fixture, make sure you have the power turned off and do not open the diffuser.

TROUBLESHOOTINGMinor problems often can be fixed without the help of an electrician. Before doing any work on the fixture, shut off power supply at the circuit breaker panel to avoid electrical shock.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTIONFixture doesn’t light 1. Power is off

2. Bad wire connection 3. Defective wall switch

1. Check circuit breaker or wall switch 2. Check wire splices 3. Replace switch

Circuit breaker trips when light is turned on
