As you may have heard or seen on the website, we truly want to help people get proper dogtraining (and a great dog), not something that will fade with time.
Something that is integral to the training is that NO treats are used in the training process, thisgreatly enhances the relationship with owner and dog. As the dog is looking to you, not lookingto the treat!

We use a balanced approach to teach obedience at a level that most people just don't have.
Yes, most people we meet for the first time have dogs that may sit or come or heel. But trygetting the dog to do that with other dogs around? Or the doorbell ringing? Or at the parkwith a bunch of people? Forget about it, right?
With our programs we focus on Real World Obedience. The type that works EVEN WITHdistractions. This is achieved through relationship building and clear lines of leadership.
An aspect that we STRESS greatly is that training and good behaviour (or rehabilitation) go handin hand, they are very much inter-related. The dog learning to hold a sit/stay, very much helpsout to understand not to jump up at people or show signs of aggression. This is also partneredwith "state of mind" which teaches the dog to be calm.
Once we have that level of obedience it now becomes WAY easier to fix a dog who lungesaggressively, or chews, or gets anxious. (Or whatever the issue might be)
As mentioned this all combines with the good behaviour shaping, that will teach you how tostop your dog displaying unwanted behaviours such as barking at other dogs / people, jumpingon the couch, stealing food off the counter, inconsistent stays in a sit/drop position,anxiousness or fearful behaviour and so on.
We believe for truly effective training, the dog's psychology and the overall leadership must beunderstood and established. That's why we address the psychology aspect also, which helps inthe results of good behaviour and calmness.
We find that addressing the issues from a root cause, leadership and mind set, we canaccomplish far more results in a much shorter period of time in a way that is easier on you andthe dog.

Puppy Program (from 8 weeks to 4 months old)Puppy training is an important part of our dog training service for those starting with youngpuppies. Puppy training can start from 8 weeks of age onwards, and is one of the mostimportant learning and social development periods in your dogʼs life. This truly is the meto catch any of your pupʼs problem behaviours before they develop further.
During the course, we run a private one on one Puppy Pre-School where we cover thetopics found in most group Puppy Pre schools, this can be highly tailored to suit YOURspecific needs and the specific issues you are seeing in your puppy.

The courses are designed to have owners spend less time away from their dogs whilstachieving very high standards when the dogs are back home again.
Advantages of Board and Train: Faster Results – Training methods are canine communication orientated and immersive.
The dog is getting trained properly everyday, so takes less time than group orsometimes even Private training.
Less Stress on You – We train your dog, saving you time and energy. As a follow-up, youreceive in-home instructions, in which you learn how to maintain your dog’s newtraining
Clear and Fast Learning – In addition to formal training sessions, your dog has theadvantage of living with us and have his/her behavior continually and consistentlyshaped.
We only accept a very limited number of dogs at one time, which means that your dog isguaranteed individualised attention and time
Your dog will live in a comfortable air conditioned home (not a outdoor kennel) with atrainer. Yards are open and interesting, and dogs are given ample opportunities forexercise, playtime, and socialisation in a safe environment. We go out of our way tomake sure your dog’s stay with us is pleasant and enjoyable. After all training should beeffective and fun!

We deliver your dog back to your home on completion of the training. (Distancepermitting - if distance becomes an issue alternatives are available)
