COVID19 INTERVENTIONS

GRANT ALLOCATIONS

o HSDG: The grant did not reduce. R 319 888

000 was allocated.

o TRG: The grant was reduced by 65% from R 11

383 000 to R 3 940 000. The net result is that

the backlog will not be wiped.

CONCLUSION

1. COGHSTA, HDA, DHS & SISHAKA currently

updating the provincial strategy & pipeline;

2. The next step is to develop and update

upgrading plans for all settlements over and

above the initial 6 NUSP municipalities; and

3. Specific focus on prioritizing UISP projects

based on upgrading plans developed.
