The main parameters of the Bologna Process :
Three-tier system of higher educationThe university provides: 51 undergraduate courses and 24 postgraduate courses.
By 2020 we are planning to open two undergraduate and one more postgraduate courses.
Academy credits ECTS
ECTS credit is a tool that helps to design, describe, and deliver study programmes and award higher education qualifications.

Undergraduate, postgraduate and staff mobility
The total number of students who got education at universities of near and far abroad: In 2012 -122 undergraduate students In 2013 -16 undergraduate studentsIn 2014 - 57 undergraduate and 2 postgraduate students
Foreign students who studied at M.Utemisov West Kazakhstan State University : In 2012 - 6 undergraduate students , 1 postgraduate studentsIn 2013 - 6 undergraduate students, 2 postgraduate studentsIn 2014 - 16 undergraduate students
The number of teaching staff who came to our university:2011-2012 academic year – 46; 2012-2013 academic year – 17; 2013-2014 academic year – 22
The number of teaching staff who went to foreign universities:2011-2012 academic year – 27; 2012-2013 academic year – 30; 2013-2014 academic year – 34.
By 2020 - planned to cover 10% undergraduate students , 100% - postgraduate students and 25% - teaching staff.
European Diploma Supplement
By 2020 – planned to conform to the standard format of the European Diploma Supplement.
Quality control
• The internal system of quality within the University• In 2010 – The University passed an institutional accreditation• In 2012 – 12 educational programs passed an international accreditation•In 2013 – the University passed government accreditation• A number of educational programs passed international accreditation organized by well-known German Accreditation Agency called «ACQUIN»• In 2013 – WKSU was in the 7th line in the Top-Ranking Kazakhstan Universities.• In 2014, May- The University passed an institutional accreditation• By 2020 год – planned to get accreditation (40% courses)
Сreating common European research area
•To participate in «Sharing knowledge, skill and ideas in Central Asia TOSCA-2» together with 18 universities and 6 association members from Poland, Spain, Greece, Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Austria, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in according to the Erasmus Mundus programme.
•Conducting scientific-researches together with foreign universities
By 2015 - planned to create 6 scientific research consortium together with foreign universities.
By 2020 – planned to create 2 scientific research consortium together with foreign universities.

Lifelong learning
Tasks:
• Creating an environment for the development of human recourses• Building institutional framework for improvement of human recourses and students` learning• Promote mutual cooperation with stakeholders and other educational intuitions• Usage of Information and Communication Technologies for learning and development of human capital

Developed mutual cooperation with foreign universities such as Kazimierz Wielki University (Bydgoszcz, Poland), London Academy Management and Science (London, UK0, Mississippi Valley State University (Itta Bena, USA), People`s National Friendship University (Moscow, Russian Federation).
By 2020 – planned to move 20% courses into European Standards

Formation of modular educational programs focused on the result.
All courses moved into modular educational programs.
Distance learning, online courses
Educational systems called «Platon» since 2008 and «Мoodle» since 2012 have been used.In 2013 – «Маkhambet» system was established and was approved successfully during testing 1st-year undergraduate students and complex testing process for postgraduate students.
