To study the impact of Swachh

Bharat Abhiyan in terms of

Cleanliness.

Various objectives of mission are:

a. Eliminate open defecation

b. Healthy sanitation practices.

c. Eradication of manual scavenging

(garbage).

• 97% people are aware about the campaign.

Newspapers- 29% | TV ads- 29%

Motive of government

• Create awareness towards cleanliness-62% | Improve the country image- 22%

• Economic development-10% | publicity stunt- 4%

Key challenges

Awareness about the mission among the people of the nation

Assume,

Strongly agree = 5 points = 38% == 38*5 = 190

Agree= 4 points = 45% == 45*4 = 180

Neutral = 3 points = 13% == 3*13 = 39

Disagree = 2 points = 3% == 3*2 = 6

Strongly disagree= 1 point = 1% == 1*1 = 1

Total = 416, Average = 416/100 = 4.16

Likewise,

Carry out the cleanliness drive at

the residence of underprivileged

(Average = 4.13)

Allocation of fund and other

resources (Average-3.81)

Seriousness of the people toward

the mission (Average- 3.91)

RECOMMENDATION

Garbage disposal facilities at proper

places.

Use google map to locate the position

of dustbin.

Provide legal back-up.

Use digital and social media for

awareness.

Create job opportunities.

CONCLUSION

Campaign is more popular among the

youth of the nation.

Social media is the main source for

awareness.

Other sources are T.V ads,

newspaper, etc

LIMITATIONS

Very few numbers of responses.

Biasness in responses.

Awareness has limitations.

Seriousness among the people about

the campaign.
