Perry Residents Point of View

• Taking their jobs

• Can’t speak English

• They are taking their money

• Their businesses on second street have ruined the businesses that

were already there

Danielle, who did her mediation presentation on immigration in Perry, Iowa did a great job. Danielle was very confident in

front of the class. Today I will be giving a review on voice, visual, and logic.

Danielle had a very strong voice and didn’t seem nervous at all. She sounded convincing and acted like she knew what

she was talking about. Her voice didn’t carry off and everyone in the class could here her.

Danielle did lack in visuals and had a lot more words on the pages then she did visuals. Danielle’s visuals went well with

her white background and looked very striking on the white canvas.

Danielle’s Logic was clear. She had obviously done a lot of research in Perry, Iowa to find out what residents thought

about Hispanics moving in to Perry. We liked that she picked a topic close to home since she is Hispanic and the town Perry resides in

Iowa.

Overall Danielle’s Presentation was a great one. It drew you in and made you want to know more about this issue. She

used her visuals, voice and logic to convince the audience she knew what she was talking about and did research to back it up.
