“I feel like the residency helped me to see thebigger picture of L&D. A lot of the learningon the floor in the beginning is about how wedo things at our hospital. We are trying tomaster the systems and how to care for thebasic patients. The classroom time gave us achance to step back and learn about L&Dnursing as a whole and how to care for othertypes of patients and complications. Also, beingtogether and comparing and sharingexperiences was very helpful. We learned fromeach other and from the opportunity to askquestions about trends and practices we were seeing.“ - Ellie B., Labor and Delivery Resident
