Engineering GREAT Solutions

Hot forgingIMI SSF is the only fastener manufacturer to receive NORSOK approval from Statoil for the hot forging of Super Duplex materials. Our heat treatment process ensures that products are sigma free and meet the required specifications of our customers.

TestingSSF uses UKAS accredited test houses for all testing requirements such as; Corrosion, Charpy, Tensile and Chemical tests. This gives our customers the confidence of an independent test result from a 3rd party.

PMIMost IMI SSF raw material is sourced from Western European origin and 3.1 certification is provided free of charge. All material is Positive Material Identification (PMI) checked on arrival, checked again prior to manufacture and at various stages throughout production. A final test is also carried out at inspection.
