The establishment of strategic partnerships with institutions of highest reputation has produced research outputs of international quality in issues of global significance. At the educational level, Unifesp aims at developing internationally recognized professionals, able to engage in professional practice in a variety of contexts both within and beyond their national boundaries.
Internationalization strategy
Unifesp’s internationalization strategy is framed within the context of the Institutional Development Plans for 2011-2015 and 2016-2020. From its beginning, it has been a benchmark for other universities in the country due to its reputation as a top-quality teaching and research institution. Based on dozens of cooperation agreements established in recent years with institutions from 16 different countries and the participation in programs from international organizations, as well as in those supported by the Brazilian government, the University has accelerated its internationalization process.
