Call for papers The period is now open for presenting proposals for papers for Shaping the future of News Media, the International Conference on Integrated Journalism Education, Research and Innovation, which will be held in Barcelona from June 17th to 19th 2015. “Shaping the future of News Media” aims at covering XXXX perspectives of Journalism and promoting interaction and discussion among academics, professionals and educators interested in YYYYY as well as expanding research networks among scholars working in the field of XXXXDigital Journalism. The event will be held over three days, with presentations delivered by researchers from the international community, including presentations from keynote speakers and state-of-the- art lectures. It will integrate also newsroom’s software innovations demonstrations and new trends on Journalism teaching workshops. The conference welcomes papers on the following (but not limited to) themes and topics: 1) crossmedia, transmedia, integrated journalism... 2) integrated newsrooms, 360... 3) new media ethics. How technological change of platforms changes journalistic principles 4) teaching/producing journalism with smartphone 5) journalism entrepreneurship 6) pushing buttons vs. Critical thinking 7) digital tools for journalists

The period is now open for presenting proposals for papers for Shaping the future of News Media, the International Conference on Integrated Journalism Education, Research and Innovation, which will be held in Barcelona from June 17thto 19th2015.

Shaping the future of News Media aims at covering XXXX perspectives of Journalism andpromoting interaction and discussion among academics, professionals and educators interested in YYYYY as well as expanding research networks among scholars working in the field of XXXXDigital Journalism.

The event will be held over three days, with presentations delivered by researchers from the international community, including presentations from keynote speakers and state-of-the-art lectures. All the registered papers will be included inthe proceedings of the conference. In addition,a selection of papers will be published in a compilation book, provided that the author do major improvements and extension within the time frame that will be set by the conference and his/her paper is approved by the chief editor.

Submissions

The time limit for ABSTRACTS submission is open until January 30th2015

Submissions guidelines:Abstract proposals should be between 450 and 500 words in length. Preferred format for all submissions is Microsoft Word. Please send your proposal as attachment to YYYYYand insert the titleShaping the future of news media abstractas subject of the message.The information should also contain the following: Title Author (s) University or research center E-mail 4-6 keywords Thematic section of the Congress

Review ProcessFollowing the reviewing process, the authors will be informed about the acceptance or rejection of the abstracts submitted. In case of acceptance, after sending the whole paper and suggesting changes, the authors will have to follow these recommendations and submit the final version of the paper until the deadline. The Organizing Committee cannot be held responsible for not publishing the paper if they do not follow the instructions recommended by the referees.The papers will be published in one of the following forms: Book (with ISBN), Conference proceedings (with ISSN).
