Our Vision for the next Decade
To achieve truly world class status as envisaged by our honourable Prime Minister during his Independence Day Speech
Education will be more broad-based and Interdisciplinary
To reach a critical mass of about 20000 students and 2000 faculty by 2020.
About 40% will be undergraduate, 30% post-graduate and 30% doctoral students
The undergraduates will be targeted to be leaders in the industry and government(60%), education and research (20%) and business/ entrepreneurship (20%)

in two years Faculty residences require major renovation and expansion Road, Drainage, Power, Water supply require augmentation Away from the Metros – medical facilities and campus
amenities inadequate Students’ amenities require modernization and expansion Shortage of faculty is one of the key challenges

2020) developed New Classrooms, Laboratory Complex, Library, Convention
Center being built New Hostels (2X2000 for boys and 1X600 for girls) under
