bodies– Batholiths: The largest of all igneous

intrusions– Stocks: Intrusive bodies that are exposed

previous rock units– Laccolith: Sheetlike intrusions that are

oriented parallel to previous rock units– Volcanic neck: A column of igneous rock

formed when magma hardens with in a vent
