ITINERARY | 08 April 2016 – Arrival Johannesburg, South Africa | Upon arrival at O.R Tambo International Airport, the guests will be met by representatives of Welcome Tourism Services who will gladly assist with luggage and transfer the guests to their hotel. Check In | Guests will check in at the hotel (check in from 14h00) Leisure | The afternoon is at leisure as guests recover from their long haul flights. The nature-inspired Spa is available, with a wide range of treatments to choose from, for those guests would like to book (optional charge) a treatment and experience organic, signature rituals that engage every sense and blissfully transport you to a time and place where body and soul experience the harmony of African nature. Sundowners & Welcome | Before the sun sets, guests will gather at Flames restaurants, which boast magnificent views of the city, for a welcome and reception drink and briefing on the journey ahead. Dinner | This evening, dinner will be enjoyed at the hip & contemporary Licorish Bistro specialising in African/Asian fusion cuisine (drinks for own account). Tambo and Nelson Mandela’s law firm was based, explore a shop selling African traditional medicine and purchase traditional fabric from one of the oldest fabric stories in Johannesburg. Find out what makes Newtown an unrivalled cultural hotspot within Johannesburg; get the opportunity to shatter your perceptions about Graffiti by learning about its origins, its ties with hip-hop culture and how it is different from Street Art. Design, Inspiration & Lunch @ 44 Stanley | This trendy lifestyle centre consists of a series of renovated industrial buildings and garages - now offering an intriguing glimpse into 25 specialty boutiques. Catering for all that is contemporary and cool, it is also home to a variety of restaurants and dining experiences, not to mention the design studios. Lunch to be enjoyed at one of the many restaurants in the centre.

Liliesleaf | The day ends off with some historical story-telling at Liliesleaf. It was here at Liliesleaf Farm that a group of senior ANC members were arrested during a police raid in 1963 for planning to overthrow the apartheid government. Nelson Mandela was already in prison by the time of the raid, however he was one of the ANC members who used Liliesleaf Farm as a place to meet and hide. It is regarded as the the birthplace of Umkhonto we Sizwe, the armed wing of the ANC, who fought against the apartheid government. 11 April 2016 – Johannesburg to Safari Breakfast | The guests will enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning Transfer | After breakfast and settling incidental, guests will be transferred to OR Tambo International Airport for their flight to Port Elizabeth (flight costs not included). Upon arrival in Port Elizabeth, guests will be met and transferred to their lodge, where their safari experience awaits… Check In & Lunch | Guests will check into their allocated suites and later seated for lunch at the lodge (lunch dependant on time of arrival). Afternoon Game Drive | Binoculars…check! Cameras…check! This afternoon brings you your first game drive. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, guests will head out into the bush in open safari vehicles in search of the Big Five. Dinner | Guests will be enjoy dinner at the lodge. Game! | Experienced rangers maximize every opportunity to ensure exceptional viewing during your game drive & walks on this established 7,500 hectare game reserve in the malaria-free Eastern Cape. Excellent sightings are enjoyed on game drives across the open plains of the reserve. You can expect to see lion, elephant, rhino and buffalo, as well as cheetah, hippo, giraffe, hyena, zebra, warthog and numerous species of antelope. On a night drive – the elusive aardvark, aardwolf and other nocturnal game is often seen.

Important Notes |

• Please note that clients should be made aware of luggage restrictions on Domestic Flights prior to departure. Guests are restricted to 1 bag of 20 kgs only on several Domestic Carriers. Should guests travel with 2 bags – the second bag will be charged for at R300.00 which will be for the client’s own account.

• Please be aware that coaches also do not have capacity for copious amounts of luggage, hence we would urge you to advise your clients to limit their luggage

Very important note for all potential visitors to South Africa |

• Please ensure that when booking a trip for yourself or clients that your/their passports all comply with immigration regulations.

• According to an international regulation, passports must have at least two blank pages in them when one enters a country, and it should also not have less than 6 months to go before expiry. South African immigration officials are very particular about enforcing this regulation and will not allow guests to enter the country should their passports be incorrect.
