ChallengeA leading global risk and reinsurance analysis specialist had a challenge with data quality and being able to store it in the proper format for querying and analysis The primary issue was that the raw data which they received needed to becleaned and converted to specific formats for various risk modeling toolsData was time-bound and high turnaround time may cause incorrect predictive analysis

Solution IGI applied its expertise in data warehouse business intelligence (DWBI) to help resolve the challenges faced by the client IGI first evaluated all the various data sources which were in use by the client IGI set up the ETL (Extract Transform Load) process where data was pulled from all heterogeneous sources Our data analyst worked on scrubbing all the raw data, in order to get clean, consistent data. This data was then stored in the proper format to be used for risk analysis Input data was converted into a suitable format for various models like RiskLink, Clasic/2 and EQECAT. Sensitivity analysis was also performed. Exposure profiling and loss reports were generated for the client IGI also worked on Property/ Workers Comp/ Auto/ Terrorism Modeling
