IFA-ASIA Associates Ltd is the advisory division that services clients globally. IFA-ASIA Associates advisers continue to develop their proposition to High Net Worth (HNW) clients, researching and delivering advice on a range of sophisticated investments suited to the needs of the wealthy individuals and professionals. IFA-ASIA Associates Ltd provides access for the IFA-ASIA Group to a growing number of leading financial product providers.

IFA-ASIA (Malaysia) Ltd is the advisory division that is looking to provide services to only expatriate clients in Malaysia. This company is currently applying for regulatory approval from the Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) before commencing marketing activities within Malaysia.

The role of an independent financial advisory has radically changed since the onset of this new century.

No longer required to be merely suppliers of product, the 21st century investment adviser has to provide a service that is both client focused and profit driven.

IFA-ASIA is such an investment brokerage. Thus we make our clients this promise:

Ricky Matthews MCSI FPC FAIQ(CII)

With over 20 years Sales, Marketing, Training and Management experience in financial services, Ricky has a full and wide knowledge of the financial markets. Ricky began his career as a Financial Adviser back in 1990 with Cooperative Insurance Society in London, UK. He has worked for some of the largest insurance and banking institutions in the UK in numerous sales and management positions. This including managing a successful sales team at Barclays International. In 2004 Ricky arrived in Tokyo, Japan as an Independent Financial Adviser for a global IFA practice. During this period Ricky has developed an in depth knowledge and awareness of the Japanese expatriate market; and wider international financial markets, giving him a firm understanding of expatriates financial needs. In May 2009 Ricky started IFA-ASIA with the aspiration to build a business based on providing quality advice and management services for wealthy expatriates throughout Asia. Ricky is a member of the "Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment" (CISI), Society of Financial Advisers" (SOFA) and also "Chartered Insurance Institute" (CII). A family man, Ricky's hobbies include cricket and football refereeing. He is obviously willing to make tough decisions for the right reasons! Ricky is currently studying further with the aim to achieve "Chartered Member of Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment" status as evidence of his professionalism and high standards.
