commonly requested but don’t worry if the sizes shown

don’t exactly meet your requirements. We offer a full

made to measure special service for any of our fireplaces

featured in this brochure, we can also easily make

small modifications like hearth sizes so they fit with

the current cut of your carpet or flooring.

For more details on this service please speak to your local Fireplace

Showroom who will be happy to help. Please note minor alterations

may take up to a week longer to deliver and special sizes will need

to be manufactured so please allow 8-10 weeks for these.

In this brochure you will find some of the countries best selling fireplace designs along

with some new classics. We offer two materials; Portuguese Limestone and Premium

Portuguese Limestone. A description of these materials can be found below:

Portuguese Limestone

Portuguese quarries produce the third largest volume of natural stone for export in Europe.

Portugal has a worldwide reputation for consistently producing high quality material using refined extraction methods and state of the art technology. Typically it is a light cream coloured material fused over millions of years, it contains skeletal fragments of marine organisms resulting in natural veining and fossils throughout.

Portuguese limestone is usually cut along the grain, creating the distinctive stripes you will see in your fireplace.

Premium Portuguese Limestone

Being a natural material when it is being quarried there are many variations of consistency and the perceived quality.

Our Portuguese Limestone mentioned left is of one of the finest quality limestone that is quarried. The very best ‘crème de la crème’ material found is reserved for our Premium Portuguese Limestone fireplaces.

As well as choosing the absolute best quality the limestone is also cut along the grain to release its natural beauty. The lines in this limestone can be delicate and light
