IEEE Student Branch at Poornima University, Jaipur

The IEEE Student Branch has been opened under Advanced Studies & Research Center (ASRC) of the

Poornima University vide welcome letter dated 22 June 2016 having Student Branch

code STB1014 and School Code is 60108724. The basic objective of opening this branch under ASRC

has been to further open different Society Chapters in various departments of the University thereby

involving all Bachelor, Master and Doctoral students and faculty in IEEE activities and awareness

through conduction of Technical Seminars, Workshops, Conferences and other technical & cultural

activities leading to promotion of IEEE and advancement of technology in right perspective. At present

there are more than 90 IEEE Student Members and more than 15 Professional members under the

branch.

Dr. K.K.S Bhatia begins the session by welcoming all the guests. After that every member present

introduced himself /herself along with their work profile and IEEE position.

Welcome Address by President, Poornima University

The session began with Prof. K. Subramanian asking Dr. K.K.S Bhatia, to inform the house about

Poornima University. Dr. K.K.S. Bhatia informed about the Poornima foundation and its colleges affiliated

with Rajasthan Technical University and establishment of Poornima University in 2012. He informed

house about students and courses available in university

Felicitation of Guests

Dr. K.K.S Bhatia, President Poornima University (Presiding Over) and Dr. Manoj Gupta, Pro-President,

Poornima University (Presiding Over) felicitated all the members of IEEE Delhi Section and Rajasthan
