Current Situation
Supporting IDOC based interfaces can be time-consuming and inefficient. SAP provides separate transactions for related functions.

Additionally, even using these transactions it is not always easy to find the required information.
When looking to filter by specific fields within IDOCs, WE09 does not display in standard ALV format so cannot be downloaded to Excel, sorted, filtered. WE02 does not display individual fields and segments so each IDOC must be selected individually for review.

● Standard SAP transactions cannot display IDOC segment data in a list. With IDOC Cockpit, you can add ANY field from ANY IDOC segment custom or standard.
● Users can maintain up to 5 custom fields from within the report transaction.● Company wide IDOC data fields can also be maintained with a separate master
transaction (up to 10 company wide fields in addition to the 5 user specific fields).
Column Header names can be maintained instead of unclear standard IDOC field names.

application logs for individual idocs can be displayed here.
● Display All Status Messages - Displays all historical status messages and text for an IDOC.
● Reprocess IDOC (BD87) - Reprocesses the IDOC selected in the report.
● IDOC Test Tool (WE19) - Uses the IDOC selected in the report to create a new IDOC in the test
tool.
● Change IDOC Status (Report RC1_IDOC_SET_STATUS) - Change individual status of an IDOC.
● Toggle Multiline - Change between header only or line item display.
