STAKEHOLDER: TATYANA

Tatyana is a 25 year old student from Russia. She has come to Canada to study English. She has just completed her studies, and is now looking for a job in Canada in-line with her past experience as an Administrative Assistant in a Bank.


PROBLEM STATEMENT: TATYANA

“Tatyana needs a way to improve her English, find a good job and make new friends in Canada because she appears too much worried about her next steps”.

“Tatyana needs to try brain teasers and games for mental exercise”.

“Tatyana needs to watch more English movies and read more English books to improve her overall English skills”.


SELECTED IDEA 1: TATYANA

“Tatyana needs to practice her reading, writing and speech to become more fluent in English.” This is because improving her English will improve her confidence and self-esteem. In addition, it will also help her in getting a job in her field, and convincing the interviewer and the company why she is the best candidate for the job.



“Tatyana needs to travel to USA and/or Mexico to see what the job market is there and also to see if she would prefer to work there rather than in Canada”. This is because this would give her a wider perspective of the other countries in North America – different cities, how they breathe, the culture, business practises. This would also contribute to her personality in the long-run and enrich her life experience.



“Tatyana needs to meet more people and extend her friend network”. This is because having a good set of friends, can help Tatyana practise her English, exchange notes on how to improve herself, make her a happier person, and probably also, she could get lucky if a friend recommends her for a job they come to know of!
