THE CLOROFILAS is a creative laboratory that has recently relocated to Manchester that experiments with plants and vegetation as creative material. I explore the aesthetic potential residing in plants as a primary source for experimentation using the plant as a basis in order to rethink and renegotiate public and domestic spaces, my modus operandi being appropriation and investigation. The mission of this workshop is to educate and inspire participants to make indoor gardens in small spaces and with unconventional containers.

Content

• A brief history of the indoor landscape: Examples of Several projects.

• Indoor plants: What types can be used and how to look after them.

• Healthy homes Anti-pollutions plants: Introduction to the research by NASA about cleaning interior spaces with specific plants.

• Ideas and techniques for indoor gardens: Will explore different techniques and ways to make an in-door garden.

• Project: development of an indoor garden project.

Content of the workshop will be held through theoretical and practical classes, it will make projections and video show.
