Our strategically placed Rental Centres hold large inventories of stock, to ensure that wherever you are you can get access to the right equipment when you need it.

ide Online offers an alternative way to purchase your standard power distribution equipment. The website is our frontline distribution service for all our core product range – including electrical distribution equipment, cable and accessories.

Using the latest technology, the site is mobile-device friendly allowing you to browse products and information, and order when you’re on-site or away from a PC.

We manufacture external feed pillars for hospitals across the UK as well a DS2 power distribution panel which is vital to mobile MRI/CAT scanners.

We’ve played a critical role in supplying power distribution for our British Military camps. Reacting quickly to meet demanding deadlines, supplying a large volume of products including; temporary distribution, cable, lighting and essential parts.

Industrial power

ide has supplied standard and bespoke products for use on industrial sites across the UK for many years, from consultancy right through to design and manufacture. Also playing an instrumental role in planned shutdowns, where our distribution panels have proved to be an invaluable asset when you need them.

Construction

Specialising in the design of customised switchboards as well as site distribution “hard wired” or “plug and play”, 110V transformers and specialist lighting. All equipment is durable and easy-to-use and includes a heavy duty galvanised stainless steel crash frame or High Density Polyethene Rubber for extra protection.

Our industry experience means we can deliver the right equipment for all your permanent and temporary electrical distribution needs.

Generator Industry

ide is the market leader in the sale and hire of power distribution equipment to the generator & temporary power industry. Supplying Auto Transfer Switches, Auto Mains Failure, Generator Connection Points, as well as Cable and Distribution. Our Engineers can also offer you a Generator Modifi cation service.

Offshore power

We have the capability to provide specialist power distribution for your offshore applications. Our equipment is designed to perform in harsh environments, so you can be confi dent it will never let you down.

Events and exhibitions

Our event distribution is designed specifi cally to be safe, reliable and easy-to-use. ide Rental supports many of your high profi le indoor and outdoor events in the UK and Europe. Using stock held in our Midlands, Glasgow and London Centres.


ide Support Services

Site Surveys

ide can provide you with Electrical Engineers to conduct a survey to fully understand your on-site requirements. This means we can then give you a detailed, accurate proposal written specifi cally for you.

Installation

ide Electricians are qualifi ed to the 17th Edition IET BS 7671 and are on call 24/7 for all installation requirements. We can send our Electricians to you, for installation purposes such as: Generator Connections, Site Cabin Connections, Panel Installations and Event Installations.

3D CAD Rendering

ide Design Engineers use 3D CAD software to provide technical drawings, allowing you to view a product before it is manufactured.

Spare Parts

ide’s extensive range of stock ensures you have a bank of spare parts available at all times for distribution units and generators such as, Varied Switchgear, Cable Plugs and Couplers, HDHC Copper Bar, Contractors, Changeovers (Manual/Auto), Terminals and Enclosures.

ide is widely recognised for its manufacturing expertise; however, we offer a variety of additional services that can be tailored to suit your needs.

Cable Assemblies

We carry a large stock of cable ready for quick delivery. Our cable is built and tested to the highest standards and can be made up to any length in any quantity you need. H07RN-F or SY cable can be supplied either with plug and coupler or terminated. All cable is available for sales and hire and can be installed by ide if required.

Testing/Inspection

All ide equipment is fully tested by our in-house Electricians before it leaves any of our Centres and is supplied with a valid test certifi cate for you. We can also carry out annual testing of your equipment if you don’t have the resources, and issue appropriate certifi cation for the next 12 months.

Generator Modifi cation

Because of our vast experience within the Generator industry, we are able to provide you with a wide range of additional services. To carry out specialist tasks like adding socket outlets (bolt-on to built-in), load bank connection points (breaker interlocked) and control panel modifi cations all to the required standards.
