Introduction:ICT course was introduced in 2012 for IXth class and it

will be continue for Xth class from June 2013. You might be knowing that it is one of the compulsory course of 50 marks for 9th and 10th class and the result is in grade for 10th class.

The main purpose of ICT is every one has use ICT in daily life.

Board has provided text book to students and teachers.

 

Course Contents: For 9th students: 1. Concept and Necessity of ICT2. ICT Tools3. ICT Soft tools- Word Processor4. ICT Soft tools- Spreadsheet5. ICT Soft tools- Presentation6. Introduction of Internet7. ICT in Languages, Social Science and Arts8. Morals and Ethics

Evaluation Scheme of 9th:First Term:First Term Examination:Written Exam – 40 marks (2hrs)Practical Exam – 10 marks (1 hrs)Total = 50 marksInternal Evaluation:Unit Test- I – 20 marksOral – 05 marksTotal = 25 marksFirst Term Total = 75 marksSecond Term:Second Term Examination:Written Exam – 40 marks (2hrs)Practical Exam – 10 marks (1 hrs)Total = 50 marksInternal Evaluation:Unit Test- I – 20 marksOral – 05 marksTotal = 25 marksSecond Term Total = 75 marksFinal Result : Annual Result = First Term=50+Second Term=50+Internal Evaluation = 50Final Result = 150/3 Therefore Average = 50 marks

10th ICT includes:1. Potential of ICT2. Internet Applications3. ICT in Science, Mathematics, modeling and simulation4. ICT in day to day life5. Information in Indian Languages6. Use of Geogebra in understanding mathematics

Total 6 chapters for 10th syllabus. Hence in this training course we have cover all 6 chapters. It will discuss in detail later.

The exam pattern for 10th:Theory Examination:The theory examination will be conduct by Board for

40 marks.Practical Examination: It is for 10 marks and it will be conduct at school level. Classification: one practical - 08 marks journal - 02 marks

Total 10 Marks In 10 marks students should complete one practical

for 8 marks and remaining 2 marks for Journal. Journal contents i) Certificate ii) Index and iii) Hard copy of assignments. Before the practical examination teachers should

certify the journals and it will bring at the time of annual practical examination.

The lists of practical’s/assignments are available at the end of 10th ICT book.

Result grades:

Marks 18-22 - CMarks 23-29 - BMarks 30-39 - AAbove 40 - A+And marks < 18 - Fail

Q.3 Multiple choice single answer 1..6 6 (1 mark each)

(any two)According to above format there are total 6 compulsory

questions for 40 marks. Marks with internal options is 56. So students has choice to write the answer.
