1. What can you expect in this Product page? The Multi Currency Account of ICBC (Europe) S.A. Amsterdam Branch (hereinafter: ICBC Amsterdam) offers Internet Banking including a Mobile App service. In this Product page we provide you information on the characteristics and benefits of our Internet Banking and Mobile App. Besides the rates, exceptions, user information and conditions you can also find instructions which documents are needed to apply for Internet Banking (including Mobile App). 2. Introduction Internet Banking by directly logging into our website or by using our Mobile App gives you 24/7 access to your bank accounts and enables you to do banking transactions by the internet from any place you want. All services are based on international standards with high security levels. Customers, who already have access to Internet Banking, will automatically have access to the Mobile App. 3. The benefits

4.1 Remittance Discount

With Internet Banking and Mobile App you enjoy 30% discount on remittance. More information about domestic payment and remittance possibilities are explained on our Remittance product information page.

4.2 Foreign Exchange rates

With Internet Banking you can perform foreign exchange transactions. ICBC Amsterdam FX rates are updated every 10 seconds on working days between 09:30 and 17:00 hours. More information about FX you can find on our Foreign Exchange product Information page.

4.3 Saving/ Interest Rates

Our applicable Interest rates can be found in our Internet Banking and are published on our Saving and time deposit interest rates page. 5. Special attention

5.1 Application requirements

The customer needs to be 18 years or older to acquire Internet Banking and the Mobile App. There are different ways to apply for Internet Banking (including Mobile App) 1. Online saving package, please visit our webpage Online saving package product

information page for more detailed information; 2. Personally at our counter in Amsterdam, at our Payment account product information page,

you can find detailed information how to apply for the Multi Currency Account with Internet Banking.

5.2 Languages

Internet Banking and the Mobile App are currently only available in Chinese and English. ICBC Amsterdam is currently working on the Dutch version.

5.3 First-time Login

Internet Banking Software Depending on the settings of your computer you might be asked to download

add-ons or change settings, before you reach our login page. You can find more

information in our Internet Banking manual.

Password If you came to our office and applied for Internet Banking, you were asked to enter

a 6 digit password. This password you can use only one time, as the system will

force you to change the password into a new password with a combination of case

sensitive letters, numbers, etc. Also the ID number, which you used to open the

account, will be asked at first time login

Log In After you have logged in with your 19 digit payment account number (neither your

IBAN account number nor your debit card number) and 6 digit password, you are

offered the possibility to create your own username. You can also deny the option

to create a username, and create one later through the menu-item “customer

service” within the Internet Banking. After you have taken these steps the system

will automatically logoff and process your new setting. Within a couple of seconds

you can log-in again with your (new) username, and password.

Mobile App Mobile phone Depending on the software of the mobile phone,, you can download the Mobile

App by scanning the QR code or by searching "ICBC" in the Apple App Store or Google Playstore and download "ICBC Mobile Banking" to enjoy our free Mobile App.

6. User information

6.1 Internet Banking and Mobile App menu

Our Internet Banking manual gives clear instructions and answers to every question regarding the use of the menu options!

6.2 Internet banking System Requirements

In order to experience a smooth experience with Internet Banking you need to comply with the following requirements: - Operating system

Our Internet Banking, by logging into our website, needs Microsoft Windows or Apple IOS as the operating system. As there are some differences in browser specifications, some telephone or tablet models may not be compatible with the service even they run on the above-mentioned operation systems, and the webpage display of some handset models may result in a different layout. ICBC Amsterdam updates the system regularly in order to support more models.

- Browser Currently our Internet Banking supports the use of Internet Explorer 8, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers. You can find helpful advice in our Internet Banking manual in order to check if your PC/ Browser has the right settings e.g. with regard to the pop-up blocker, security settings and active x-control.

6.3 Internet banking Security

Besides the encrypted connection to our login page, which you can recognize by the “S” in the web address starting with “HttpS..” and closed “locker” symbol (If you click on it you should see that Verisign issued a certificate to Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited, Beijing, Beijing, CN), it is also important that you can recognize several types of crime like “fishing”, “malware” and “possible identity fraud”. It is important to make use of computers with the up-to-date virus protection, active firewalls and the latest browser versions. ICBC Amsterdam uses several security methods to protect your privacy, and controls movements by verifications, dynamic code card and passwords. Also we have personalized your welcome page, and give instructions about necessary browser settings.

6.4 Transaction limits and Cut-off Time Internet banking (including Mobile App)

6.5 False login attempts and definite block

Your username will automatically freeze for a day after you tried to login 3 times with an incorrect password. If your username has been frozen for 10 times, it will have a permanent block. We can only unblock the username when you identify yourself at our counter in Amsterdam with a valid ID.

6.6 Dynamic Code Card or ICBC password token

Dynamic Code Card or ICBC password token is required to authorize your order in Internet Banking and/or Mobile App. Dynamic Code Card Our Dynamic Code Card is needed for you to authorize your banking transactions. On the back of this card you can find a frame of columns and rows, indicated with respectively letters and numbers. If you enter a transaction, the system will ask you to scratch two cells of the dynamic code card. Each cell (can be asked more than once) has 3 numbers, which you should enter in the fields of the authorization screen in order to authorize your transaction. You need to authorize your transaction within 70 seconds otherwise the transaction is timed out. You can use the card up to a 1.000 times.

After 3 false attempts the Dynamic Code Card will be frozen for a day. After your Dynamic Code Card has been frozen for 10 times, without a successful online transaction in between, you have to come in person to our counter with your ID to unblock your Dynamic Code Card. If you need to do an urgent payment you can still send us your request with our forms.

ICBC Password Token ICBC Password Token is a handy safety tool to auto-generate codes. Together with the ICBC Password Token you will receive an instruction manual. You can also find this on our webpage “Download”,.

6.7 Retrieve username and/ or forgot password?

Our security policy prescribes the way passwords and usernames are issued. Passwords can be entered personally in our system at our counter, and the username is pre-defined by your multi currency payment account number. After the first login you can make a more user-friendly username. Retrieve username If you forgot your username but still know your password, you can also use your 19 payment account number as a username. Under “customer service” and “Set logon option” you can find back your Username. If you do not have your account number available, you can go to “user management” on the login page and complete the verification details to retrieve your username in the screen. Forgot password Your password can not be re-issued. If you forgot your password it is only possible to come to our counter with your ID. We will reset the system and give you the opportunity to enter a 6 digit password. After you login the first time, the system will force you to make a new password with a combination of case sensitive letters and numbers just like when you used internet banking for the very first time. You can still send us order forms to execute e.g. payments, etc. 7. Forms For instruction manual and/or retail order forms, you can go to our webpage Download 8. Mainland China Accounts It is not possible to add your Chinese account number to ICBC Amsterdam’s Internet Banking system. 9. 11. Deposit Guarantee The Bank is operating in the Netherlands as a branch of ICBC (Europe) S.A. which is incorporated in Luxembourg. For this reason the Deposit Guarantee Scheme of Luxembourg is Applicable on all our offered accounts to retail customers. The Customer’s funds, in EUR and/or foreign currencies, are currently guaranteed up to a maximum amount of EUR 100.000 equivalent per accountholder.
