Brief:
Dr.Ram Sateesh Pasupuleti is a registered architect in Sweden
and India. He has attained his educational qualifications from
most prestigious institutions- Doctorate from SABE University of
Westminster, London, UK, M.A. in International Studies in
Vernacular Architecture, Oxford Brookes University, Oxford UK,
and a Bachelor of Architecture from Jawaharlal Nehru
Technological University, Hyderabad, India.

IntroductionThe Civic Design Lab intends to partner with community leaders and civic stakeholders to mediate with the
advantages of science, arts, architecture and improve Quality of lives in urban areas.
This lab primarily aimed to develop an evidence-based research:
❑ To equip the students and researchers to interact with young people, adults and elderly people through
architecture, urban design and related skills, to empower them to make a much-needed contribution to the way
the built environment is designed.
❑ This lab enables a stakeholder centric design process involving community leaders, municipalities, business
sector including children and young people to get engaged and contribute to the design process themselves,
offer the advice for designers need to make better places, and in the process develop a range of employment
skills related to their individual interests and aptitudes in the place making process.
The holistic component with a futuristic vision for establishing Civic Design Laboratory, is proposed in 5 stages
in a gradual process.

❑ Eco Responsive Cities : The Ecological dimension
