Brief Description of Undergraduate Courses Taught: (Course Title – Code: Description) 1 A 6 credit-‐hour course that extends over a 6-‐week period and is offered to the 4th-‐year medical students for

4 rotations per year. The course emphasizes history-‐taking and physical examination. 2 A 6-‐credit-‐hour course that is taught over a 6-‐week period and given to the 5th-‐year medical students for 6

rotations per year. The course objectives are to teach basic skills and the main subjects in Internal Medicine. 3 A 10-‐credit-‐hour course in Medicine that lasts over 9 weeks and is offered to 6th year medical students for 4

rotations per year. The course concentrates on patients’ management, follow-‐up and principles of therapeutics.

Brief Description of Postgraduate Courses Taught: (Course Title – Code: Description) 1 Full participation in postgraduate training and evaluation of Internal Medicine interns, junior and senior

residents, and demonstrators. It involves bedside clinical teaching, lectures, clinico-‐pathological meetings, tutorials and seminars (1984 -‐ present).

2 Active participation in the Residency Training Program of the Saudi Board and Arab Board Internal Medicine. The program is a 4-‐year residency training and certified candidates are equated to those who hold other postgraduate degrees (1984 -‐ present).

3 Active participation in the teaching of the MSc Occupational Medicine and Hygiene course (MDFM 8109) conducted by the Department of Family & Community Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Dammam. This is a 4-‐credit hour course and I am responsible for giving lectures on Occupational renal toxicology.
