02 What’s Included In the packaGe?

28/21 days accommodation You decide how long you want to be organised before you go it alone. You won’t pay a big deposit and you won’t be tied into a long term contract – this is the perfect way to find your feet in Ibiza.

An Introduction week So many people head over here alone, which is why we feel it is important to hold an introduction week to integrate new workers with experienced workers and get everybody o the same page. The people you meet in Ibiza ARE the experience, so the introduction week is a vital part of your summer.

Lots of beach days & nights out We don’t like to use the phrase ‘organised fun’, so we will just say they are pre-arranged gatherings that will allow you to meet new people, find your feet and have an absolute ball.

Help securing your NIE number & Spanish SIM cardThe questions we are asked most is how to secure an NIE number and what the best deal Spanish SIM cards are. We will help you sort out all these niggly bits and have you up and running with an NIE number and Spanish phone number in no time.

CV, sales training & recruitment day workshopBecause not everybody has experience in these fields! Selling is one of the biggest job markets in Ibiza and if you have no experience, then you will be pipped to the post by those who do. Our CV, sales training and recruitment day workshop will teach you new skills, as well as give you an idea as to what to expect from a recruitment day. We will polish up your CV and get it in tip top condition so that recruiters are chomping at the bit to take you on.

A dedicated rep on hand for your stay We understand that being away from home can be a little bit daunting and everybody needs to find their feet with a little bit of guidance. We will pass on all of our closely guarded information to you in order to ensure that you get to the hottest underground villa and after parties that take place all summer.

Depending on how long you want to hand us the reins for, we will organise your first 21 or 28 days accommodation. The apartments that we allocate to our workers are fully kitted out with all the necessary self-catering facilities that you would expect in order to live well whilst in Ibiza.

Your apartment will also have a TV and a balcony in order to become a real home away from home, with the majority of our accommodation boasting a stunning view of the world famous Ibiza sunset. Crack open a San Miguel and sit on your balcony…this is home now.

We put a lot of thought into allocating our workers into specific apartments and take on board your individual credentials in order to ensure that you are in the very best place. Solo travellers will be placed with other solo travellers, whilst groups who wish to be together, can stay together. All of the Ibiza Intro team live in the same block, like one big happy Ibiza family, so you will feel like you’re integrated into the community from the word go.

Who you live with has a massive impact on your summer and by booking your workers package with us, you are giving yourself the opportunity to meet people and decide whether you want to live with them before you jump into a long-term contract. Don’t like who we team you up with? No problem, once your 21/28 days is up, you are completely free to move on with other people.

Once your time in our accommodation is up, we will work with you to find you a new place to stay that is affordable for your individual budget.

04 What jobs are avaIlable?

We guarantee all of our workers a job with San Antonio’s largest promotional based sales company ‘Detroit Ibiza’. This is guaranteed, full stop.

The role you will take on is that of a sales representative and you would be selling official pre-party packages for Detroit Ibiza, which warm holidaymakers up before they visit clubs such as Amnesia, Space, Sankeys, Ushuaia, Zoo and many more.

Detroit Ibiza also has its own events to sell, such as boat parties, beach parties and villa parties, all of which you will be telling people about and selling to the tourists; don’t fret, this isn’t as hard as it sounds, people come to Ibiza to party, and we deliver on that party.

By having a large range of events to sell, the job automatically becomes easier for you; you are catering to variety of tastes and you can swap and change which event you sell based on the type of tourist you come across. We offer a fantastic commission rate of up to 15 per ticket that you sell, giving you the opportunity to make a good wage that will allow you to really enjoy Ibiza.

We also offer daily, weekly and monthly bonuses as an incentive.

Your typical working day is sociable hours, between 11:30am and 6:30pm, but you are free to tinker with your hours if you have noticed different selling patterns and believe that it will help you to sell more tickets.

Ticket selling won’t be everybody’s cup of tea and we take this into consideration; we have teamed up with a number of San Antonio’s leading employers, which has allowed us to offer wider, more varied selection of roles that include PRing, shot selling, body painting, bar work and beauty therapy. We urge those who feel that ticket selling isn’t for them to get in touch and find out about what other positions we have available to our workers.

Our other positions are subject to availability and applicants must have relevant experience/qualifications to land a trial. Whilst we will do our utmost to get you a place on a trial, we can’t guarantee a job in any other area than ticket selling for Detroit Ibiza.


05 IntroductIon Week

For the first week of your stay, we will encourage you not to work hard, but to mix and mingle and get to know each other; once you have got a good base of fellow workers, the rest becomes so much easier.

We will organise plenty of days out that consist of beach parties, bar crawls, club nights, cliff jumping, as well as get down to business on the practical side of things and get your CV in top notch condition, whilst giving you advice and training on the expertise that you will need to land a job in Ibiza.

Preparation is key and by ensuring that you are prepared with your head in the game, you are more likely to have the summer of a lifetime.

After you arrived, you will get a guided tour of all the workers haunts and hot-spots that are around San Antonio; these consist of the cheapest places to eat, the best places to drink for workers and the necessary amenities that you will need such as trusted ATMs and supermarkets.

We will also get down to securing your NIE number and organise your mobile phone being set up.

Since founding, we have become somewhat notorious at Ibiza Intro for our fantastic beach day that we hold on Cala Gracio beach. A big highlight as one of our workers, we throw you right into the spirit of Ibiza as you indulge in sun, sand, sangria and San Miguel. Week upon week will see new arrivals, allowing the older arrivals to mix with the new and get them well acquainted with the Ibicencan lifestyle.

If nights out with us are conjuring up images of cheesy 18-30’s drinking games and party forfeits, then think again. Whilst we in no way, shape or form take ourselves seriously, our reps are all about Ibiza and the music scene here – that’s why we are here! We will take you to the best venues with the best music and ensure that you get a true taste of what Ibiza is really about.

NIE, mobile phone and workers passesGetting an NIE isn’t as straightforward as many think and you may find yourself unable to get one as the clarity as to how to get it in the first place is somewhat clouded. We will show you all of the tricks of the trade that you need to secure yours, making it a straightforward, easy process that won’t take up a massive deal of your time.

There are a few network providers in Ibiza and we will work with you decide which has the best deals for you whilst you are on the island.

Workers bands and passes are the biggest perk of working in Ibiza and we have direct links to the people who provide these – the promoters. We will tell you exactly where and exactly when to get your passes and if we can land them directly, you will be the first to know about it.

Will I be okay coming on my own?Yes of course, between 60 – 70% of our customers are solo travellers. You will be put in the same apartment as people in exactly the same situation as yourself and will make friends in no time.

If I want to stay on after the 4 weeks is up can I?Of course, we encourage you to stay on and do the full season as we are all about promoting a true Ibiza worker. In order to gain this experience, we feel that you will need to be here for longer than 4 weeks.

Can we stay on in the accommodation?There is currently no option to stay on in the apartment due to availability. Our packages are extremely popular and sell out each year with people coming on later packages so space needs to be kept for them.

Do we have to take the job you put us in?No, of course not. We offer a guaranteed job ticket selling but we fully understand this position will not be for everyone. If you feel it’s not for you, then we are also official recruitment partners with Active Bar, Candy Apple, Massage Beach, Simmering Shots, BarNaNa and Viva Bar who will all be recruiting various positions. We can arrange trials for these positions but no guarantees can be made.

Will I need a Visa to Visit Spain?If you’re an EU citizen, you’re good to go. If you’re coming from a Non-EU Country, we suggest you consult your local Spanish Embassy before booking onto this package. Although many foreigners can work in Spain without a VISA for up to 90 Days, it’s always best to be sure.
