From the Dots and Dashes - Black (B), cut:• (6) 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (24) 2” x 8 ½” strips.• (8) 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (24) 2” x 11 ½” strips.

From the Faces - Blue (C), cut:• (14) 3” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (96) 3” x 5 ½” strips.

From the Dots and Dashes - White (D), cut:• (14) 3” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (192) 3” squares.

From the Faces - Yellow (E), cut:• (2) 3” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (24) 3” squares.

From the Folio - Lime Green (F), cut:• (2) 3” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (24) 3” squares.

From the Folio - True Red (G), cut:• (4) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2” x 60 ½” strips.• (3) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2” x 48 ½” strips.

From the Tossed Motifs in Bubbles - White/Multi (H), cut:• (2) 6 ½” x 63 ½” Length of Fabric (LOF) strips. • From the remaining fabric, cut (2) 6 ½” x 60 ½” WOF strips, piecing as needed.

From the Footprint Stripe - Multi (I), cut:• (7) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

From the Small Squares with Motifs - Multi (Backing), cut:• (2) 83” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 68” x 83” back.

Block AssemblyNote: Pay attention to the unit orientations when assembling the various components.1. Sew (1) 2” x 8 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) 8 ½” Fabric A square. Sew (1) 2” x 11 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A square. Trim the block to measure 10 ½” square to make (1) Unit 1 square (Fig. 1). Repeat to make (12) Unit 1 squares total.

2. Place (1) 3” Fabric D square on the left side of (1) 3” x 5 ½” Fabric C strip, right sides together (Fig. 2). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 2). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance. Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 3).

3. Place another 3” Fabric D square on the right side of the 3” x 5 ½” Fabric C strip, right sides together (Fig. 4). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 4). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance. Flip open the triangle formed and press to make (1) Unit 2 strip (Fig. 5).

4. Repeat Steps 2-3 to make (96) Unit 2 strips total.

Quilt Top Assembly (Follow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top.)8. Sew (1) Block One square to each side of (1) Block Two square to make Row One. Repeat to make Row Three.

9. Sew (1) Block Two square to each side of (1) Block One square to make Row Two. Repeat to make Row Four.

10. Sew the (4) Rows together in numerical order to make the Center Block.

11. Sew (1) 2” x 60 ½” Fabric G strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2” x 48 ½” Fabric G strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

12. Sew (1) 6 ½” x 63 ½” Fabric H strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 6 ½” x 60 ½” Fabric H strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

13. Layer and quilt as desired.

14. Sew the (7) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric I strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

15. Bind as desired.

5. Sew (2) Unit 2 strips together end to end to make (1) Unit 3 strip (Fig. 6). Repeat to make (48) Unit 3 strips total.

6. Sew (1) 3” Fabric E square to each end of (1) Unit 3 strip to make the top row. Repeat to make the bottom row. Sew (1) Unit 3 strip to each side of (1) Unit 1 square to make the middle row. Sew the (3) rows together to make (1) Block One square (Fig. 7). Repeat to make (6) Block One squares total.

7. Sew (1) 3” Fabric F square to each end of (1) Unit 3 strip to make the top row. Repeat to make the bottom row. Sew (1) Unit 3 strip to each side of (1) Unit 1 square to make the middle row. Sew the (3) rows together to make (1) Block Two square (Fig. 8). Repeat to make (6) Block Two squares total.
