SINCEREST THANKS, to all those who donated items to the Baby Shower. All the items were given to Birthright of Onondaga County, Inc. and New Hope to assist expectant mothers as

well as new mothers. Your generous donations have helped many young women through what can be a very difficult time.

A FAMILY PERSPECTIVE by Bud Ozar

Father’s Day – Today we give thanks for our

dads. In teaching us, healing our wounds and providing for us, our dads participate in the teaching, healing and feeding ministry of Jesus. In their generosity, God is made present.

Lord, I bring to You my burdens and You know my situation. You know I can’t make it without

You. Comfort my heart and give me strength, and help me carry on.

Experiencing troublesome feelings? Fear, anger, anxiety, stress, depression, sickness? Did you know that there are fellow parishioners will pray with you after mass? All reasons for prayer will remain confidential. Join us for Prayer Ministry on Sundays behind the altar after the 8:30 & 10:45 Masses. Believe in the power of prayer. Prayer is powerful and He can do anything.

June 16, 2019 Holy Trinity Sunday

"He will take from what is mine and declare it to you."

― John 16:14

Relationships — even genetic ones — are a mystifying reality, and the best efforts to explain them are often poetic. They are often described in terms of their results, as in today’s readings on this

celebration of God as a community. God’s love, peace, truth and hope deepen our relationship to one another,

the Earth, and all creatures. We don’t need to understand this, only to believe and live it.

Penitential Act Lord Jesus, you spoke of the intimacy between you, the Spirit and the Father: Lord, have mercy. Christ Jesus, you shared this deep relationship with your disciples and with us: Lord, have mercy. Lord Jesus, you give us faith and love, hope and truth to share with others: Lord, have mercy.

Scripture Readings Prv 8:22-31 Wisdom precedes, accompanies and reflects God in creation Ps 8 O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the Earth! Rom 5:1-5 Our faith, even in suffering, brings peace and hope Jn 16:12-15 Jesus connects his teachings to the Spirit and the Father

The Elizabeth Ministry is here at St. Francis. This ministry is extremely important for it affirms that every member of the church has gifts and talents to build up the entire community.
